| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh cool, everyone actually got together and we got team fishing in groups. The space fishing itself looked kinda fun. This epsiode took a deeper dive into the concept so it was also important for the show's overall theme. Best episode so far imo with the space fishing. |

| So Maki Maki was made leader of Haru and Ruby which is a good choice seeing their personalities and their dislike towards Namino. Still Namino got herself into trouble with her competitive behaviour. And Haru finally has a spirit. |
| Haru's spirit awakening felt too convenient. Everyone losing and she just happened to be saved and then one-shot win against that giant ass fish. Kinda felt lame. Otherwise, decent epsiode. Lot of focus on the leader and the fishing itself, which was nice. |
| Ended up following the Yorimoi format where the first half is training and the second half has the field work. Of course for their first mission they get sent straight into the ending of Pacific Rim. Ojiisan running the program seems to really want the girls dead. Another better episode focusing on one of the better girls. I liked the emotional music during Makiko's fight scene. "Second-place contestants receive deep sea fanglyfish." - Strong Bad Email #119 "Japanese cartoons are weird, man." -Strong Bad Email #57 |
| Episode focused more Makiko's leadership in which she didn't do badly at it. It also seems like Ame-no-Hiwashi has agreed to be Haru's deity and it is all thanks Misapyon and Haru's determination. It was a better episode but wasn't good. |

| The best episode by far, but still feels very convenient in regards to Haru finally earning her very own spirit. Focus on Makiko this time and her fear to not take leadership, guess that's the story this episode. Otherwise, it's still below average. |

| Don't take this image out of context: Aww Makiko has a daddy complex. Poor girl. Not enough confidence to be a leader... "If you remain content about being the second option, you'll end up living a very boring life." I HATE THIS STATEMENT BECAUSE IT IS TRUE! "Come to me, Misapyon!" "The person you're trying to reach isn't available at the moment." THERE'S NO SIGNAL IN SPACE!!! LMAO Shoulder Massage Coupons?! What the hell? That's what happens when you have a bird perched on your shoulder! So this is like the squads' first time in space (excluding Namino's group in the 1st episode), and they go straight to the deep parts of the tank? That's ballsy going for the big game straight from the start. Wow, that was quite the shock when Haru reeled the cable in to find that it was detached from Maki's seagull.. Haru going for a direct attack on the anglerfish? *facepalm*. And Deity ex Machina with Ame-no-Hiwashi's appearance. Now if only we can learn what she specializes in... Now that the girls have their space fishing permits, I hope to see more space fishing from here on out. Show us some new fish and teamwork to catch them all! |

| Best episode so far. Almost lost their lives, but they defeat a REALLY large monster the first time they went. Did Ame-No-Hiwashi come because Haru showed courage, or because she was given free massage tickets? xD 4/5 |
| We get to learn a lot about Makiko, pretty sweet. Also the fighting wasn't half bad. |

| But MakiMaki did nothing in this battle. She almost fucking died and was saved by Haru in the lost moment. Why they were so proud of her at the end? |
