| Around halfway through the song, I suddenly got really excited, remembering that Cutie Honey Universe is coming out this month! Then at the end of the song, I realised why I was suddenly thinking about Cutie Honey. As for the actual episode, very disappointed. None of the jokes hit. It's all been done better elsewhere. Way better. The eating something other than toast, that's usually an easy joke to make funny, but there wasn't really any energy or anything interesting here. Daily Lives of High School Boys is one of the good examples, for its energy. Gintama as well, for its obscurity. The "we're gonna be cancelled!" thing has been done way better by anime like Osomatsu-san and Gintama. The reason I didn't find this funny at all, was the lack of energy or originality. The art style is cute enough, I guess, but I'm not looking for that, I'm looking for a laugh. | Didn't plan to watch this, not my type of show, but I got some laughs out of the first two episodes. I don't normally watch anime comedy, especially when it gets more absurd or just devolves into cutesy art shenanigans, but this balanced the line between more straight comedy, while still having story and characters. It's not just a bunch of bits and randomness. I'll probably keep watching for the season. |

| Mahou Shoujo Ore is the anime I never expected to like. Originally I thought it was another cliche magical girl saving the world and her crush with her magical powers and yada yada. I was completely wrong. It's quite the opposite! It's a parody of magical girl with genderbender transformation, yuri scenes, love triangles and a fan boy manager that loves magical girls. And I love it! Kokoro is one of my favorite characters. He's so hilarious! My other favorite is Sakuyo. Her crush on Saki is so adorable! I really, really enjoy this episode 10/10 |

| Why weren't they popular?! They're cute and their singing is not so bad. I'd gladly buy their CDs. Looking at the pretty boys, I can smell yaoi miles away. That yakuza thug-like old man is so hilarious, his way of talking. lol Who could have thought that he is a mahou shoujo scout. Just like your typical mahou shoujo stories, the villain kidnaps the heroine's helpless beloved then she comes to the rescue. Though this time the girl transform into a man. This looks like a macho parody of a magical girl genre, which is not a bad idea at all. |
