Hello! ヽ(〃・ω・)ノ

Actually, there's been a ton of layoffs lately.. so a lot of my friends were a part of that :( but other than that, my manager is still amazing so I like my job, I guess. Haha, that person sounds like a jerk. But I would just take their words as motivating instead of discouraging. It just means you have to prove them wrong ;). Hope things are better on your end now, though. Sounds like you're a hard worker, so it's definitely hard to have people complain about that. Oh, you bike to work? I kind of wish I could do that just for the exercise, but it would be dangerous biking on the highways haha! You must be in good shape!

No, I haven't actually! I procrastinate on these things a lot. I am focusing on the Kingdom hearts series as I want to complete all the games! I think I'll turn on the Japanese voices for Kingdom hearts as I didn't know they had that feature before. I see what you're saying, but when it comes down to business, Square Enix wants to market the remake to everyone. Modern day gamers who have never played the turn based RPGs would not find the old school FF games to be fun, so have to change the combat, unfortunately. At least these are my thoughts :P.

Oh, yay :) I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I'd feel so bad if you traveled that far and didn't like it haha. I actually remembered when your concert was on the day that you went and was curious to know how it went. These types of concerts are so different than your traditional concerts, so I've been trying to go to as many VGM concerts as I can! I think most of the audience was relatively older, so a ton of people were hit with the nostalgia. I know I was affected by it. Did Nobuo Uematsu show up to your concert? He makes frequent appearances at the concerts!

Ahh, no, unfortunately :(. I was pretty ill during the concert, so I ended up just resting at home. I did attend the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra concert, though! I had box seats too, so it was pretty magical. I think their tour ends in NA, so unfortunately doesn't look like you'll have a chance to see them.

How have you been otherwise? Anything new? :)

Heh, it's quite okay. I'd say a late response is always better than no response at all (^・ω・^ )

Yup.. the new position is okay, but there's a lot to do since people are leaving from my team. I get free coffee though, so that's a plus :P. Plus one of my co-workers is a big FF fan, so we connected pretty well (`・ω・´)”. Let me know how the job is going for you! I hope you like your team. Is it close to home?

Yes, it almost didn't even feel like a FF game at times. Hahahahaha, I know what you mean, but I like the fast paced stuff :). There was a "wait" battle setting, right? I never used it, so I'm not sure how it works. For the FF7 remake, I think the combat is actually gonna be similar from what I saw. Ahh, I haven't even hit Pitioss dungeon yet, but thanks for the heads up, haha. I've been meaning to start a New Game+ because I played it the first time with the Dub. I'm eager to hear how the Japanese VAs sound!

Oh, the concert will still be amazing for sure (*^ω^*). Oh man.. the opera was sooo awesome.. They even had a narrator and all. It was really well done. I was fortunate enough to go with some friends. Ugh, hope you still have a good time by yourself :). Who knows, maybe you'll bump into your love at the concert ;) (´∩ω∩`)

Thanks for that info! The seats are first come first serve, so I'll have to see how that goes.. I'll definitely let you know how it is and if I can snap a picture, I'll send it your way :). Send me a picture of Paris if you can! :D Also, for sure. They are also both playing different pieces, so there'll be more variety :3

Hi, stranger! ヾ(。・ω・。) Nice to meet you!

Yeah. That's why I always recommend a bunch of options so they can pick one
arisusagi Feb 2, 2018 5:11 PM
It's because I've used this one to this challenge item, lol
UnknownWriter Dec 1, 2017 8:03 AM
I'll do my best that's for sure.
UnknownWriter Dec 1, 2017 7:38 AM
What got me into it. I guess Death Note. I was bored in general so I watched Death Note, liked it and got hooked on. Well, you just keep watching. You got a nice list.
UnknownWriter Dec 1, 2017 7:03 AM
You started 2000 huh. Why only 2k episodes? I started last summer.
Betsyspaniel Sep 24, 2017 11:50 PM
I've been watching:
~ Kakegurui - I love it to bits! I adore psychological-type shows so this perfect when I'm in need of cheering up.
~ Isekai Shokudou - I love food, I love fantastical beings eating, this show is great. It's one of those shows I can relax too.
~ Centaur no Nayami - I can't really explain why I enjoy this show. I love the characters, mainly. But the slice of life aspect is cool too.
~ PriPri Chi-Chan! - Although I haven't really picked it up since last season, I really enjoyed watching the characters grow and develop and they're extremely cute.

Some that I wanted to watch:
~ That quiz show one
~ Koi to Uso
~ That robot one
~ 18if or 18gif idk
~ Tsuzere Children

So many people like different things from this season, it's rare for a season to have so many liked shows. Winter 2017 was pretty bad apart from Kobayashi and Spring didn't really have anything at all apart from SnK.

Hello! ( ・ω・)ノ

Absolutely! I thought that Sans was quite the enigma when I was able to reflect on the game a bit. I'll throw a spoiler below as a fair warning if you haven't beat the game yet:

Okay.. the Undertale stuff was actually kind of depressing to think about (lol) so I'll talk about some other stuff that's been going on!

So, before the concert, I tried to space out my time and beat a bunch of the other FF games. My most recent completions are FF5 and 7. I'm so glad, actually, because they played a decent handful of tracks from those games. I actually enjoyed FF5 a lot because of the class system and it was interesting to see more female main characters than male characters for once, lol. FF7 was fantastic as well, although I did see Aerith's death coming from a mile away... :(. This was more primarily because of her gosh darned sad theme song, haha. I also did see a lot of similarities between FF7 and FF8. Not saying it's necessarily bad, but if I created a Venn Diagram, I'd have a bunch of things to fill in. Basically, whatever game most people started with is what I think they would stay loyal to.

There's a lot of things to talk about FF7, but before I write you another 1928473 paragraphs, I'll just talk about how I (again) thought the soundtrack was awesome. You mentioned that you liked the Cosmo Canyon theme and I am on the same boat. I actually did not like the song to begin with, but after multiple treks to the same place, it really started to grow on me. One day it even got stuck in my head and before I knew it, I was digging up other versions of the song. I also really liked Jenova's Theme although this was another one that I didn't initially like (but I now love).

Haha, let me know how FF15 goes for you. I still have so many things on my list that I want to play, so i'll get started on FF15, hopefully soon enough. Also, I totally understand the whole lending your FF games. For all the "good" games, my brother and I would always baby the CDs and their cases. Letting someone borrow it would be out of our alley unless we absolutely knew they would take good care of it. I also kind of hate your friend that broke your game lol. Those types of people suck and I had something similar happen to me once, except my friend sold the game to a store. I was kind of pissed to say the least, lol.

As for the concert... I think I'll need another spoiler (❁°͈▵°͈)

If you haven't checked it out either, I really like this version of Cosmo Canyon and I also prefer the piano version of Aerith's Theme. Anyways, I hope you've been doing well and hope work isn't stressful or anything.

Quite a lot of time but I focus more on school work (Just kidding, when there's anime, school work doesn't exist...) ^^"""""
In terms of this season, I'm only mainly watching 3 and I forgot to keep up with another three xD (It's sad because I might as well wait until Ballroom is over and I really wanted to watch that)
Are you watching anything this season?
Betsyspaniel Sep 17, 2017 2:17 AM
I normally just add everything but I hope to try everything out in the end :D ^^ (You're a lot wiser than me lol)
Betsyspaniel Aug 20, 2017 2:04 AM
Thanks for accepting :3 Nothing much, you?
funbar Aug 1, 2017 1:47 AM
Haha, I did miss hearing from you, but take all the time you need. Hope you've been doing well!

Undertale was not a long game by any means, but I was pretty immersed in the game when I played it. Papyrus is definitely a fantastic character, but when I started reading some fan fiction spin offs on Sans, I found his story to be darker and sadder and thought that maybe his comedic personality was simply a shell for something under.

The first time I listened to the orchestra album, I actually hadn't heard many of them, but I could always appreciate them :). I'm purposely trying not to listen to too much from games that I have yet to play, because I feel like hearing the soundtracks beforehand is almost like a spoiler in a sense.

I'm not sure if you've played other Square Enix games such as Chrono Cross or Chrono Trigger, but those are pretty legendary too. They're also technically not originally by Square Enix (separate companies now merged together), but they're under their name now, I think. Another one of my favorites is Star Ocean, but that's probably because that's the very first PS2 game that I purchased a very looonnnnggg time ago.

You should definitely go!! I planned on going last year but the timing was terrible and I also had nobody to go with xD. I'm actually going this year, though! The concert is in September and I have until then to fully beat all the games in the series. Once I do go, I'll be sure to tell you all about it! :P

I actually beat 12 the day after I sent you my last comment! I can see why you think it's meh and why a lot of other people thought the same. I doubt these are the reasons why the game was meh, but the ending wasn't anything too special and the final boss battle wasn't really challenging at all. I usually always have to restart at least once, but I didn't even have to use a mega elixir for this game. Also, all of my characters basically ended up being the same because of the license board. One thing that made the game much easier than the past FF games is that if your party gets wiped out, you can just switch out members of the party. This leaves you with basically 2 chances.

I'm not sure if you heard but the FF12 remake is out! They have the job classes too, so the game could be more interesting. I already bought it and it'll arrive here soon, but I'd say that you should give it another chance! If you are planning on buying it, I'll wait til you have it so we can play it "together" :P.

I remember playing Runescape and Maplestory back in the day. I spent most of my time doing the crafting or just lounging back in the day opposed to going heavy with the combat. I guess that's just more of my play style, but I like the laid back approach with those types of games, haha. I remember my Free Company (Guild) kept yelling at me because my cooking level was 2x the level of my combat level hehe. I guess I was the slacker in the guild. A triple triad card game IRL sounds awesome, but they were probably reluctant to do anything official because the game itself wasn't too popular to begin with. I imagine that a fan-made version of it in IRL exists somewhere out there.

Yup! long hours aren't too bad, but they can still be tiring. I recently started taking breaks while I'm at work and just play some Final Fantasy games. Right now, I'm playing FF6 again because I never actually finished the game. If you noticed that I don't finish a majority of my games, it's because I've been trolled pretty hard by corrupt memory cards, power surges, friends borrowing my disks, etc. Sounds like a bunch of excuses, but it's ended up in me playing a lot of the games many times so I'm not really complaining!

Right, I'd say experience is definitely the most important thing, too. Holy cow, 13 months of work is a lot! That's actually BS that it doesn't count as actual experience and I'm sorry to hear that, but you definitely sound like a hard worker who doesn't get discouraged easily. Also, for what it's worth, I'd definitely hire you because I know you have a lot of perseverance from playing all the FF games :D hahahaha.

PS: sorry for the long message again..
