Both have a male main character being stalked by a group of creepy girls.
report Recommended by monopura
THe main characters in both shows live a hikikomori lifestyle until a mysterious girl 'welcomes' them to the outside world. Both characters also display many of the positive schizophrenic symptoms.

Serial killers and the supernatural, bending reality towards ones whim.

The same idea "we are images as how others see us"

11eyes is basically the 2009 version of 2008's Chaos;head. Each anime was based off a game. Both center around a male character who is surrounded by multiple girls who show up either near the beginning or middle of the series that have something to do with the general plot. Most of these girls can seem extremely innocent, but they're really someone totally different Both males (Kakeru 11eyes, Takumi Chaos;head) already have a girl who is extremely close to them (Yuka who is Kakeru's childhood friend, and Nanami who is Takumi's younger sister). The male's each meet a girl who somehow knows something about the strange things that  read more

Murders that are conviniently placed right where the lead male can see them, a strange girl following him without making sense on why... if you like one then I'm sure you'll like the other. Denpateki is Chaos Head without the fantasy.
report Recommended by Spades-Deuce
Both are really boring in the first part, but get more and more exciting afterwards. Both are really dark as well.
report Recommended by Gladeo
Both are psychological, and will keep you at the edge of your seat.
report Recommended by Wish
The storylines are completely different but the 2 animes deal with some strange phenomena. Boogiepop Phantom is a really dark anime, the episodes don't seem to be linked but in fact they tell the same story from different points of view. The graphics of Chaos;Head may not seem quite serious but it doesn't matter because the plot is unusual and the story is interesting and breathtaking. Two very good animes!
report Recommended by skyisover
There exists a personification of your innermost feelings and thought processes. In Chaos Head it exists as a "delusion", something brought into reality, while in Persona 4 it exists as a "persona". If you aren't careful, you can be killed.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
Chaos Head and paranoia agent both share that really creepy atmosphere and have a really complex story in which one of the main characters is constantly going more and more insane.

The more you watch, the more you understand.

Just like Chaos; Head, Elfen Lied is gory...extremely gory... the girls are involved too. Not to be watched by the weak of heart.

Occultic; Nine and Chaos; Head. These works of the same creator are locked in possibilities that are out of human understanding, trying to explain what does not seem to make sense. Both involve a young man who could be considered somewhat clear of society, although he has friends, he keeps for himself all the suffering of his mere existence. These protagonists are witnesses of death, are involved by chance, where each person related to him has somehow related to the events. The series usually use elements like the internet, police, even characters with certain similarities. Both seek the truth behind the dark world that presents  read more

A loner main character with no ego or spine whatsoever and a cast of females are psychologically manipulated into fighting for the sake of the ego-maniacal head of a shadowy corporation seeking to play god. Mental molestation ensues.
report Recommended by picastro
The history is very similar to it аниме. The main hero appears in campaign of girls with not ordinary abilities. He is just human. But by the end too becomes one of them. And well certainly love to the girl with pink hair =)))) xDD

Both are mysterious and main character must save the world.
report Recommended by akika
They both have similar types of violence and magic, and occasional slightly scary sequences that in both animes gives off the same sort of vibe.
report Recommended by TsuruyaSonozaki
Both are psychological mysteries that became more and more ridiculously silly as time goes on. If MST3K did anime, they'd do these.
report Recommended by Splitter
While sola is rather laid back and there isn't a ton of murders going on, the actual Anime share very similar concepts that become very clear later on. Each character also has their own design.

their places took the same place, in Shibuya in ChäoS;HEAd we can see 1 boy with so much girls, but in Digimon Frontier we can see 1 girl with so much boys the enemy themselve also claim that they had surpassed "God", but it was totally failure that because they underestimate the heros/heroines the main boy fell in love with the main girl all chara combine their power to defeat enemy *nb: the way hero & heroines in ChäoS;HEAd combine their powers, it really resemble "monshou" (crests) in Digimon Adventure

matrix/harem both mc's surrounded by girls both question reality and perception, chaos;head is more psychological, and has a more compelling story. if her flag breaks has more girls.

Both protagonist are NEETS and scared to go out in public, Both have female characters that stick with them and care about what happens to them. The main characters find themselves breaking out of there NEET life to help fight against secret organization that wants to control society. The two series include Mystery, Sci-Fi, supernatural, and Romance in them.
report Recommended by Obeythealfa
Contains that psychological feeling that you get after watching both series as the Protagonist gets paranoid. It also has that thriller-like style where each episode leaves off on some sort of cliffhanger that leaves the viewers wondering "what's going to happen next?"
report Recommended by Stark700
It's freaky weird. The main character is a wimp who becomes involved in more than his own little world. There is a series of strange murders.
report Recommended by colonelpanic
In both anime mysterious and gory murders occur which involve the main character. Both also have a very complicated plot so it will take a while before you understand what is going on and things are not always what they seem to be. Both have a lot of fighting with blades (swords in ChäoS HEAd, daggers in Kara no Kyoukai)
report Recommended by Khalan
Both fighting and have murdering
report Recommended by END1E55
Both shows deal with making their imaginations become a reality (which is key in both). The main characters in both have an extremely similar "background". Both deal with a major company serving as the antagonist of the series, who on the outside seems good but actually has evil ulterior motives.
report Recommended by Winter9
Rikka and Takumi resemble, both create illusions of himself and others, all focused on their tastes. Also they find it difficult to adapt to a normal life.
report Recommended by OtakuNote87
- Both are psychological - Both contain gore and nudity - Both have a very, very, very similar protagonist, a pathetic loser that thinks about nothing but sex. - Both have supernatural elements, aliens in Gantz and imaginary objects in ChäoS;HEAd - Both are very hard to watch but they keep you entertained somehow
report Recommended by Kazami
This title also highlights the topic of psychology, perhaps in a slightly different light, but on the whole they are similar.
report Recommended by RiiVaazZol
Both have similar themes of strange phenomena and questioning sides, as well as the altering of reality by some mysterious force.
report Recommended by TheJCLoser
Both of these anime have to do with characters skewed perceptions of their reality, and how those perceptions play into their lives. Chaos;Head focuses more on the concepts of paranoia and hysteria, while Gakkougurashi explores the vast field of psychological disorders. Both contain characters that may not actually exist.
report Recommended by TheJCLoser
Main character is an otaku gamer. He hides from real world in anime-related games: dating sims and eroge. While the story line develops, he meets strange girls with mystery powers. World of games and real world mixes in weird way. Both anime are harems but have a very few number of ecchi elements.
report Recommended by Day-Elven
Stories that explain the reality of otaku culture, showing the consequences that brings in the lives of their culture, obviously only speak Japanese but a reflects the protagonist who takes refuge in to leave reality and achieve happiness .
report Recommended by OtakuNote87
Instead of a Yandere girl, its a Yandere Boy. He is also a shut in who lives by himself and hates conversing with people. The plots are different though. Chaos Head has a more fantasy type plot where they kill a bad guy with special powers. Watashi is a girl trying to get by.
report Recommended by Mythical_Truth
both are from 5pb and Nitroplus both are sci-fi adventure based both are much more of a fiction than science, compared to Steins;Gate, which is much more of a science than fiction Chaos;Head is the start of the three 5pb and Nitroplus sci-fi adventure anime. i suggest you start chaos head, then Steins;Gate to understand Robotics;Notes even more both use 'trigger' system

It envolves a normal guy, that from nowhere is life changes, and all he see's its blood, The main character got Kaneki personality and have almost the same feeling, when he see's assassins that kills people etc. Also both animes got blood! I trully recommend Tokyo Ghoul / ChaoS;HEAd for someone who wants to see some anime similar to Tokyo Ghoul / ChaoS;HEAd .

"ChäoS;HEAd" and "Adventures in Beauty Wonderland" both deal with delusions to a certain degree. The former is focused on the inner thoughts of the protagonist as well as the power of his imagination whilst the latter is based on the classic fantasy story "Alice in Wonderland", which was a tale that evoked the imagination of so many people. It is clear that the creator, Tanaami Keiichi, utilized such wild themes and imagery to really distraught the viewers. Furthermore, another similarity would be how confusing these two pieces are, especially considering their lack of explanation or poor explanation. Lastly, these two works will really make you wonder in  read more

both series are typical harem type anime series consisting of 6 girls plus one guy, with the male and female protagonists as a couple (makoto okano and minamo narukaze and takumu nishijou and rimi sakihata), and both male protagonists have one of the series main female characters as a sister (hinata okano and nanami nishijou), although unlike wind a breath of heart, the male and female leads of chaos head are not childhood friends

Psychological thriller with a mentally unstable protagonist who can't distinguish delusions from reality.

both have bloody scene, very both have girl with pink hair both are romantic in a way, guilty crown has more romance in my opinion

Ready for some more mind twisting, shocking, startling, and edge of your seat thrills? ChaoS;HEAd will surely mess with your brain, it's not your usual psychological thriller, more like an "Alexander in Wonderland," throw in a few friends to join the story and you might not be able to follow the events taking place. Add some time to think while these stories progress, you might find yourself in awe at how the author managed to write such a twisted plot.
report Recommended by CiaoBella
It may not seem, but these series are almost alike. Both Shiki and Takumi have unusual powers and, at the beginning, they are scared by unusual, beautiful girls. And they get support from female characters. The difference is that in Shingetsutan Tsukihime they are fighting vampires, and in Chaos Head they're fighting illusions.
report Recommended by encuentrameahora
Both include otakus as main characters. The anime collection figures, the manga collections, the posters on the walls... it has that same feeling.
report Recommended by DenpaOnna
What is reality and how far are you willing to go to protect those that you care for? When does something just disappear and becoming nothing, and when does it become real. Both of these Anime deal with characters who can summon something and it comes from their personal feelings.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
Both shows give the same over all feeling with very similar elements. They both revolve around youth and their unholy powers as they try to learn and cope with the chaos around them. They also share similar elements in which people are trying to exploit the characters for personal idealism and gain. If you enjoyed one, there is a good chance you would enjoy the other.

They're both harems, to say the very least. You have the main hero guy getting more girls one-by-one as the story progresses. Interesting to say, these are both action series where the guy isn't just standing by the sidelines while the ladies do the work. They take the effort to be useful and stand up as a hero to them.

Protagonist with a unique condition caught in various harrowing circumstances, finds himself in certain horror-esque scenarios and makes crazy fearful eye expressions.

They both are Sci-Fi, where you can manipulate the brain. Both deal with reality and the finding of oneself. Chaos;Head is a bit more dramalike and seems less real than Ghost in the Shell. Chaos;Head is more a thriller than Ghost in the Shell.

Both have a weird aura of mystery about them and both have a male protagonist and several female characters he doesn't quite understand or know to trust

Right when I watched the opening for the first time I thought about how similar the graphics where. Not really the same genre but, it was the first thing that came to my mind

Paranoia of main male characters. Similar characters' attitude with each other. Similar idea of conspiracy.

This animes Series are very good stuff for those that are interested in Psicologically and good-stories about mind and fiction. I recommend these because I like good series that have in their posses a great End.

both series are harem type anime with one male protagonist and 6 female heroines. plus both female leads rimi sakihata and nanami konoe are both romantically linked to the male leads takumi nishijo and kenji tomosaka, plus both male leads have one of the 6 heroines as a sister (nanami nishijo and suzuka tomosaka)

Both shows focus on psychological aspects of the mind that lead to semi-paranormal events occurring. The main characters both have a bit of mental problems, although it's much more apparent with chaos;head.
