Yakusoku no Neverland

Surrounded by a forest and a gated entrance, the Grace Field House is inhabited by orphans happily living together as one big family, looked after by their "Mama," Isabella. Although they are required to take tests daily, the children are free to spend their time as they see fit, usually playing outside, as long as they do not venture too far from the orphanage—a rule they are expected to follow no matter what. However, all good times must come to an end, as every few months, a child is adopted and sent to live with their new family, never to be heard from again.

However, the three oldest siblings have their suspicions about what is actually happening at the orphanage, and they are about to discover the cruel fate that awaits the children living at Grace Field, including the twisted nature of their beloved Mama.

I can't describe how amazing and beautiful that was, this season is full of incredible scenes that I loved and made me cry more than just one time...


It is a unique story that takes your emotion to one of the highest levels possible. Also, there is one thing that caught my interest the most: the main character.

Emma is, despite being a kid, a person who cares a lot for her family, being capable of doing whatever it takes so save all of them.

In different moments in the show it is possible to see Emma with no doubts of her thoughts, no matter what are the ... other's opinions, she always want to help every single friend, even knowing the risks and high chances of fail, that's what I love in her personality(but annoys Norman and Ray lol).

I really recommend watching this, because it was a wonderful experience after all!

Mixed Feelings

If I could describe a fall from grace, it would be Promise Neverland. I remember watching this anime when it first came out and described it as peak after the first couple episodes. It gave us a thrilling, original premise, with some very interesting child characters. I'm a sucker for a bleak world, with minimal margin for success in the stories which this show felt like it was taking to another level. After the first season, I thought there was nowhere to go but up, but after watching season 2, it felt like it completely lost it's way. It honestly felt like there was a ... completely different writer or they just couldn't make it off the preservation with this world. I really wish this story would've worked, but it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

To describe tpn would be to describe it as a cheese omelette, only that the omelette has since gone cold and you can't heat it up in the microwave or it will explode. What I mean by that is it had so much potential to be sooo good. And then it wasn't. The first season wasn't horrendous and there were moments I enjoyed. Like the first episode and ray almost killing himself but after that, it just fell downhill. Also the manga is way better 4/10 don't recommend, go read the manga instead if u really like it

Now the art was pretty ok,the ... animation was pretty smooth, atleast the first season.
