The absence of Norio Wakamoto and Jouji Nakata in the 20 most respected veteran seiyu is highly unsettling. I just can't understand it, really.
And I can hardly agree with the first place in the young seiyu rankings, but... it's all a matter of tastes, right?
I have to say that I'm quite happy to see Rie Kugimiya being out of the ranking though.

Not bad; this list is a bit short though, and I thought would be more guys. It's alright. Romi is first!

Junko is great too.

There has been and will always be people who complains. People have diverse tastes and the top spot is limited.

Nice~, I'm watching it right now.

I think it's more centered around kids anime (for young)... and classic anime (for veteran)?

Paku Romi?? Let's see..

*checks her voice acting roles*

What the. She voiced some male characters and what's funny is that I just finished watching Kaiba where she voiced Popo (a male character).

Pretty talented seiyuu.

Good to see Miyano there.

I'm also disappointed with the lack of my second best seiyuu, Takehito Koyasu.

I'm suprised on the other hand, that my no. 1, Tomokazu Seki, was included in the young seiyuu ranking. I've heard him in so many anime that I thought he was older...

Sad to see that Tomokazu Sugita and Daisuke Ono are not on the young seiyuu list and sad that Megumi Hayashibara, Aya Hisakawa, Shou Hayami, and Takehito Koyasu are not on the veteran seiyuu list. However, I'm happy to see Ryo Horikawa and Toshio Furukawa on the veteran seiyuu list.

Go go Hirano Aya. You know how to point your middle finger to the uptight corporate garbage of anime industry. I'm glad she placed on that list at all, seeing how scared of their companies voice actors are.

Lack of Sugita Tomokazu is a relief, he was a good kyon but he's everywhere nowadays with his botoxed like face. Although I think Hanazawa Kana could get a spot up there.

Where's Hayashibara Megumi though? She was a heart and soul of 90ties anime, having written some and sang even more songs for that period of time. Wasnt she basically a 1st successful singing seiyuu? Thats one big bummer.

The last one has by far the best voice, even if her roles aren't as prominent. I'll watch any show she is in just for her amazingly cute voice.

My favorite seiyuu isn't on there, the other seiyuu who voted must have bad taste!

I'm kind of surprised that Subaru Kimura is on there, however. He only has two roles, one of them being Kanba from Mawaru Penguindrum, which hasn't even finished airing. It must be because he other role is from Doraemon?
