My name is "Shakeyourpup45", and no it has nothing to do with animal cruelty. Never crossed my mind; many, but not all, of my usernames are centered around canines.
I am female and in my 20s.
I think anime/cartoon and manga/comic are fun, but I have the weakness of not being inspired to check a lot of them. I will need a recommendation but it will all depend on me making the first move and getting quickly interested.
I am a big voice over fan; Mel Blanc is a first favorite. Others I like are Brian Drummond, Scott McNeil, Otani Ikue, Shinichirou Miki, Katsuki Masako, Kazuhiko Inoue, Yao Kazuki, Ueda Yuji, Dee Bradley Baker, Nobuyuki Hiyama, Both Seki (Tomokazu, Toshihiko), Jim Cummings, Mary Elizibeth McGlynn, and more. A vigorous performance and the ability to play many characters catches my attention.
I also like music, comedy, and radio personalities. Writing is fun too. My website is currently in the works.

yes, a bit too unrealistic. and it doesn't help that nigasa forvever looks 15, so it is very confusing when she's getting pregnant and all. in fact, most of the characters look like they never get older, especially sunohara. though for honey, at least they announce from the start he's supposed to be a loli-shota type.

lol, papa akio seems like such a cute nickname. i agree akio was well played, but in after story when their daughter was supposed to be about 20, the fact he looks no older htan 30 still disturbs me. >.<
i'd tell you to go in the oposite direction! show that there are still people who cares for the lesser known!

i went to read those 2. well, the animenewsnetwork one was really enlightening. and i totally agree lol. i'm not very fond of miyano and hirano either, not cause they suck, but because they are not outstanding in terms of skill. i also feel tt they are getting all these publicity because either they have face value or they are lucky to get popular characters.
hehe as for koyasu doing crack characters, it actually suits him lol xD

yea, i'm starting to think he's a getting a little too much attention too, but it hasn't gone over the edge so i'm find with it. i guess i'm fine with him and koyasu being pretty popular is because i've started liking them long before they started gaining so much popularity. so well, my logic is that, i like them for what they do, not for how much attention they're getting.

erm let's see... normally i find the older and more experienced ones better. eg. inoue kazuhiko, toshihiko seki etc. miki and koyasu are in that catagory and they're very active, so i see a lot of their roles before i decide that they're really skilled.

not really, i define good by how popular they are. ie. is she good enough to deserve so many favourites?
he seem to have very little roles, i've only seen 2 so far: tengen toppa and fairy tail, both of which bored me...

eek, i don't like paku romi. not because she's bad but because she's just too popular. >.< (i have very strong tendency to stick up for the less popular) let's see, if i really HAVE to choose someone popular... (need to check the most popular peoples list. though looking at it ruins my mood most of the time) ok, it can't be done. i can't imagine myself ever voting for the top 20 most popular people at all.
i thought kakihara has been pretty established in the industry? nonetheless, i like his voice. really cute. =D but for new actor, i prefer hanazawa kana
oh good good. then maybe we'll see some true talent receiving it. XD fingers crossed for koyasu or miki. ^=^

i like inoue kazuhiko too, but he's not my top top favourite. but i guess in such voting stuff, you have to cast clever votes. it's pointless voting for our top favourites if we know they stand no chance on winning. instead, we should vote for someone whom we like a decent amount and who has a higher chance to win XD
whats the toriyama kei award? haha i'd love to see koyasu or miki. ^=^ though i'm pretty sure the winner will come from the top 10 popular people on MAL list. of whom most, i find, are over-rated.

i'm not liking adeu's legend as much as the regular series. I didn't watch much as far as new things this year either. mostly just FMA (unless higashi no eden counts, then i watched that recently)
