Visual Art's Plans 'Kud Wafter' Anime Adaptation

Visual novel publishing company Visual Art's has announced on Thursday that an anime adaptation of Little Busters!'s spin-off visual novel Kud Wafter is currently (financially) under planning. President of Visual Art's, Takahiro Baba, originally relayed the news in a column on the Akiba Blog website; revealing that the planning for the project began last year and has been progressing steadily. The company is in process of forming a production committee for the anime project.

Synopsis
The Little Busters' trip was a complete success, and summer vacation has finally begun. Everyone heads home for a bit to see their families except for Riki, who has no family and Kud, whose family lives in another country. One day, an accident occurs that floods the men's dormitory, which leaves Riki with no place to stay. Luckily, Kud is willing to lend a hand, and she's also looking for a roommate. Developed in June 2010, Kud Wafter is the eighth visual novel by Key. A PlayStation Portable version of the visual novel was released in May 2013, followed by a PlayStation Vita version in December 2013. A manga adaptation drawn by Bakutendou was serialized in Dengeki G's magazine between March 2010 and December 2013.

Best girl getting her own show? Sold. Love Kud and LB in general so this should be great. Hopefully it's at least 12 episodes though and not just an OVA series.

Im excited for more Little Busters Obviously, but Kud is my least favorite from LB!
Hoping it'll be decent, though expectations are low.
Also if they were going to adapt a key side story VN, i would have expected Tomoyo After.

I didn't read the VN but I'm not expecting a lot from this... from what I saw from the manga it's just some fluff... well I'll watch it and see what happen, I don't dislike kud after all.

I haven't read the Visual Novel for this but I actually love Kud (she's like my third favorite from the characters from Little Busters, tho all LB characters are likeable), but I did heard a mixed reception towards this since I heard from some few that its decent, tho some are just bad.

I don't really mind it as long as I get Kud (well... take away perhaps the apparent H-Scenes and I'm good, honestly I don't want to see her get you know what).

P.S: Twitter went haywire on the announcement and said why not Tomoyo After instead of this? This was probably the funniest thing I've seen so far this year because of the amount of reactions from people is just priceless, though I can somehow understand why since I heard Tomoyo After had a nice story to it (I haven't read Tomoyo After either)

I've seen it early yesterday but seeing it here makes it feel even more "real"....

They don't do Tomoyo After which is considered more or less good but Kud Wafter! Hahahahahahahahaha!
And what if it actually goes nicely and comes out better than the Rewrite adaptation?! Hahahahahahahahaha!

only they and Kyoto Animation can make good KEY anime but it would feel weird for me if the series switched studios now
