Manga 'Centaur no Nayami' Gets Anime Adaptation
Synopsis
Himeno is a sweet, shy little centaur girl. In her world, everyone seems to be a supernatural creature, and all her classmates have some kind of horns, wings, tails, halos, or other visible supernatural body part. Despite their supernatural elements, Himeno and her best friends, Nozomi and Kyoko, have a fun and mostly normal daily school life! (Source: MangaHelpers)
The manga is drawn by Kei Murayama and began its serialization in Comic Ryu in December 2010. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga North American release and the tenth volume went on sale in November.

What the actual hell is this shit?
How have you not heard of it? MAL full of casuals these days I swear...
Tell me about it. I thought monster girls were more well known. I know a fair few people I've talked about monster girls with IRL, and most of them aren't weeaboos (not to the degree that the people here are, at least).

The heck? Centaur? This is taking bestiality of horses to the next level lol.
If it was a harpy like Papi, then I would've been interested.
Are the Narnia stores bestiality because they have mythical creatures? Is Harry Potter???
No! Grow up and actually find out what the manga is about before spouting crap. There are plenty of comments above you to indicate it is not an ecchi manga so it's not like you had to try very hard.

So its basically Monster Musume but is just a normal high school SOL huh...
Nothing like that.
Monster Musume's whole point of existing is to be a borderline softcore porn.

It is just normal slice of life mixed with an alternate reality in which various mythological(but not magical) races take the place of the us^-^
It portrays interesting ideas how such a world could actually look like, is good to read and offers me shipping potential *_*
I'm really suprised there is something lile this out there and I am even happier that they adapt it into an anime:3
Its really something different than what you usually see, I can't think of anything right from my mind that is comparable...
Maiby hozuki no reitetsu a bit in the aspect of having a 'normal' society with mythical creatures but it has an entirely different feeling.
Edit: Demi-chan goes into a somewhat similar direction as well.
I honestly wouldn't have expected somethibg like that... japan, you suprise me:3

Ooh. I like that comparison. Anyway it's funny to see all the bashing this show gets eve though it has not been aired yet.
I hope it will be the surprise of the season and it will get quality animation and acting.
Although Centaur's worries might have social commentary and a sociological study, but it has still many cute moments. I'm for one not a fan of monster girls, but this manga got me really interested, since it's cute and interesting at the same time.
I still wonder what the Antarcticans are planning...

So i guess boys still get pandered in 2017. Thought the industry was going to all female pandering.

And japanese government wonder why their country population is declining.
Japanese government would most likely prefer this to not exist to be honest.
You got me interested in this manga, is there a group that is scanlating it?

So it's like Monster Musume but a Slice Of Life instead of Ecchi / Harem?
Its nothing like monster musume(thankfully).

Apparently it's not such a bad comedy, I might give it a try when it's out. I love ridiculous stuff (ʘ‿ʘ)

Every new anime announcement is so full of negativity, I wonder how many of you even watch anime or are just here to bash it.
Every single time bro not really surprised, it's like a tradition to judge a series by its cover, while the best part is when that show exceed your expectations, being successful and shitting it on their faces
Kinda reminds me of the past 2015 NBA draft when a draft pick gets booed by the fans saying being a bust and some shit who turns out to be a stud in the end
Same with this community bashing LN announcements like Konosuba and Re:zero and look how it turns out in the end
All I can say is you never know. You know, you have to give it a chance. But nope this community is a shithole anyway
OT:Are they gonna report on the Seitokai Yakuindomo Movie Announcement or what, still waiting for that one
OOTT: So are we gonna have Monster Musume genre as the in thing right now lol
