'Terra Formars' Manga Gets TV Anime and Video Anime Adaptation

An anime adaptation of the sci-fi manga Terra Formars was announced via a poster in the 8th volume of the manga. This was displayed on Shueisha POP Haishin Corner, a virtual service which displays material from books and magazines. The manga will get both a TV anime and video anime adaptation.

The manga is written by Yu Sasuga with illustrations by Kenichi Tachibana.

The story is set in 2577, centuries after humanity attempted to terraform Mars with cockroaches, only for the human settlers to be wiped out by humanoid cockroaches when they land on Mars themselves.

The ova will cover BUGS2 arc, while the TV anime covers the Annex 1 arc.
No BUGS1 arc? that takes less than 10 min or will they cover it in one of the others.
Action/Gore/Politics/Comedy - this gonna be good.

I heard so much about this manga, both fame on how it has cool alien bugs and infamy on how its Sci Fi is so made up out of the *** and unrealistic. I'll try the anime to see what's the fuss is all about.

JOHJ! This is gonna be pretty tough to pull off with all the gore and stuff... Doubt it'll be worth watching until the BD release if they overdo the censoring. Happened with JoJo too, it's not like the gore is needed, its just that theres suddenly this big black smudge ruining the scene

Started reading this weird manga, which had some entertainment value even though it didn't look that great, story or characterization wise. Might give this series a try when it comes around.

What? Critics said it was going to be a masterpiece? Any real critic, or even MAL ones, would recognize this series as bad. You're also wrong about it not being relevant, the manga certainly is with 400k-500k sales per volume.

The most 2 powerfull character, that we know off, are male though.

1# and 4# have no been revealed yet(although its most likley the Japanese and the Romanian officers)
