 The official website of the Pokemon anime series announced a new television anime on Friday, featuring two new main characters, Liko and Roy. The new anime will begin airing on TV Tokyo in April 2023 (pictured above). The episode commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon anime series and depicts the encounter between Satoshi and the mysterious boy Haruto. | Finally Satoshi can have a deserved rest. Since the Greninja fiasco, I dropped the anime, but hearing about the end of his travel its just... unbelievable. New mcs dont have any attractive at all, but since is aiming for the kids and Pokémon players, well, ppl will love them. |

| Although this was something inevitable, I didn't expect this to happen at the end of this season. Hopefully, one day, I'll finish up the remaining episodes that I haven't checked out since the original series. Maybe I'll just stick to the yearly web series, they better not stop making those. |

| I guess I now have a reason to actually try and watch all of the Pokémon anime up to this point properly sometime. 25 years of being a 10 year old... kid self probably wouldn't believe it but I'm actually a bit relieved that there will be a proper end! It'd still be cool if Satoshi shows up as a brief cameo at the beginning of the new series to pass the torch onto the new protagonist(s) like with Yu-Gi-Oh GX and (kinda like) the most recent Pretty Cure series though... probably just me thinking that though... Also I heard something weird was going on with OLM recently. Hope they're doing all right, maybe they can take it a bit easy now too or something... |

| Wut? The forever 10 years-old kid's journey is actually going to end soon??? No way! Joke aside, I highly doubt they would retire Satoshi/Ash completely and reduce him to a merely cameo for the new anime considering how much of a mascot and cash cow the guy has been since like forever. Let's wait and see how long he would stay behind the shadow lol. The new MC's designs looks like they're clones of the Pokemon game;s avatars or something lol |

| A part of me is happy but the other part of me is sad to see Ash/Satoshi be done. Watching him my whole life so it’s like an era has come to and end lol. But I do hope we get more stuff like Origins one day |

| The end of an era I told everyone I knew that Ash was being retired now that he pretty much is a master, so I'm glad that his story is being put to rest.....Its gonna be a super emotional last cour of eps but I'm ready Curious to know if this new MC is Ash's daughter tho |
