| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It sucks that Joe got screwed. He got threatened by the past and it's BS. Meanwhile, there's also Fujimaki who I'm interested in knowing more about, especially his intentions. Joe still has a determined look on his face but it's just sad that his previous match had to go that way. As for the ongoing championship match, I love how Joe rode his motorcycle like a badass and went to there himself. |

| finally time to get joe back in the ring and take down mikio. the whole episode was just really good build up to the rematch announcement, I almost thought it was all over. |

| Damn Mikio is truly a snake, he was just a scammer. I feel bad for Joe. The background to know more about Mikio was decisive for the future. He is scared of Joe, that was unexpected. When everyone had no hope, Joe appears in the badass mode with the motorcycle. It was expected that the fight would happen again, but the way they did it was good. Can't wait for the rematch. |

| I love how Nanbu is not giving up on Joe. So Mikio was just bluffing and Nanbu fell for it, Mikio is such a douchebag. Joe riding in like that was great. Looking forward for the rematch. |

| Wow Nanbu got duped and caused Joe to throw the fight unnecessarily and then he messed up again when trying to negotiate with the women. He basically caused Joe all the problems without really thinking it through. Guess it all works out in the end though. |
| I was on the edge of my seat for most of the episode! It was a bluff, Mikio had no reason to not expose Joe from the start, he just didn't have any evidence so he did that in order to win by default. Even though his pride blinds him to point of not taking Joe seriously, fighting a gearless oponent would render the edge provided by his gear useless, and he really doesn't want to take any chances. I had goosebumps when Joe risked it all getting on that stage to plead for a rematch! I'm glad to see that Shirato Yukiko has respect for the tournament she organized, Yuuri's words made an impression on her and being "genuine" was something she couldn't ignore so she decided to give Joe one more chance, it was so good! |

| This is what I call a good episode, good pressure escalation, several twists, great directing in the end with the announcement of the rematch between Mikio and Joe, I am really very satisfied with the episode of this week. In addition, Joe finally takes control of things in place of Nanbu, I hope it will continue like this ! Not much more to say, everything is in the episode ; Finally Mikio had a good reason not to fight Joe : his Gear is ineffective against a gearless fighter like Joe ^^ The question I ask myself now is whether Mikio will still manage to resist to Joe ? I don't think that way but Mikio seems determined so maybe he keeps some trumps with him, I can't wait to see what will happens ! |

| Man I just can't wait for the next episode. Hoping to see some gorgeous animation and a crazy ass fight. 3/5 - Story is fine but predictable. Makes up in the energy and hype though. |

| It seemed as if the Shirato brother was busy upgrading his gear or its AI to a new version, taking our gearless hero's performance into account, no doubt. Although Joe definitely secured a chance to succeed, he is definitely not of out of the woods yet. Mikio's face after his sister's announcement was priceless. Trickery only takes one that far. Now Mikio has to prove whether he lives up to his own idea of a genuine fighter or not. On a related note, Yukiko Shirato looked absolutely stunning in the midnight blue dress. |
| Glad to see that Mikio and Joe will now have an official match. Nice to joe had to settle things his own way, as it's shows he want to settle the score with Mikio. Glad to see that even Yukiko stood up for Joe, sayign that a fighter shoudl run the rights to fight in the tournament. I am quite curious how the fight goes, now knowing Mikko fears Joe due he fights without a gear. I got a strange feeling that Mikko is probably going to be very dirty in this match. Overall good episode |

| Predictable, this anime is finally showing one of its major flaws, is too short for a story that needs and benefits from chapters like this. This chapter felt rushed, the negotiation, if you can call it that, was dumb and ended up in an obvious way. We are close to the final chapters, I wonder how are they going to pull off the last fights. 2/5 |
