| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was quite entertaining.. The characters in particular the expressions of Atsushi is something that I found rather fun to watch. In addition, he realizes what he's gotten himself involved in. A pretty good start with the eerie mood and supernatural powers. Atsuhi can apparently transform himself into a tiger. Dazai Osamu is an even more interesting character so far with his philosophical talk. Very interesting. That theme song at the end is also pretty cool.  |

| The main guy is not welcomed even by the facility and attempting to rob in order to survive. He met Mamo's character who attempted to suicide but getting saved by the main guy. Serious co-worker Hosoya-san's character is mad while picking Mamo's character up. Special detectives with special power?! Tiger incident somehow related to the main guy and Mamo's character knew something. lol @ reading suicide book in the dark and he already read many times. Eh, the main guy is also with the power and he can change to tiger under the moonlight... so he's THE tiger... Mamo's character can undo someone's power. Other members appeared. Interesting that the names of the ability is the works of the authors/detectives'. Mamo's character hired him. Looks like bomb incident next. Both OP and ED aired at the end this ep. I like ED song so much. |

| It was so good, all these supernatural powers sounds so interesting, the characters are all interesting, and the protagonist is on point(and the backstory too). All seiyuus too, oh my... top notch(with the OST). (Nice comedy with all those faces, Igarashi direction 10/10) |

| Definitely my favorite first episode besides Re:Zero. Loved the comedy and the powers that were showcased, the characters seem to be fun and the animation when it mattered was really good. Bones is stepping up their game recently. Oh and not to mention the all star cast we have right now. Huge potential for this series, I see why Japan wanted an adaptation for this series. |

| Funnier than I expected (dem faces), but not too over-the-top and doesn't take away from the drama. Nice. Good music, too, in regards to both the OST and OP. |

| Wow! This was excellent! The animation, the OST, the characters and their designs, the concept, I love it. It's kind of like a weird combo of Durarara, Kekkai Sensen, Darker than Black and Ouran Host High School Club (lol). |

| the climax was good but addition of the slight comedic relief i think should be toned down more. Stray dogs reminds me about the duo from cuticle detectives but adds that hamatora layer into it as the shell we see. I'm digging what its dishing out but not completely sold as the teaser did make seem more serious than what we saw this episode |

| Very nice, clean art, and the characters have some appeal, but I don't think I'm going to continue watching this one. There's nothing necessarily wrong with it. I'm just not connecting with it. The story and humor don't suit my (possibly narrow) taste. |
| The fact that the characters are named after known authors and their abilities are named after their works makes this even better. |
| I like how this anime immediately shat on some common anime tropes. Main isn't immediately shown to be a complete dumbass. The whole yaoi Black Butler crap got its face dropped on the floor. It also went Soul Eater on me all of a sudden which I didn't expect at all, I love Soul Eater's animation. I thought it was gonna be very serious, so the comedy really got me by surprise too. |

| I loved the comedy vibe and the character designs + the animation. The tiger form was amazing. First ep goes full 5/5 imo. |

| I have a feeling this will be my favorite series of the season. The animation is gorgeous and I like their take on the shounen superpowers premise. Good stuff definitely (the comedy actually works for me here, unlike many other series, but I guess that's a matter of taste). |

| What a great fucking episode, it surpassed my expectations. The animaion was smoother than I thought it would be, the music was better, it was funny and just really well done overall. If this quality keeps up it'll be one of my absolute favourites for sure. Homosexual undertones btw. |

| Thought this was pretty average as far as first episodes go. Didn't really expect is to have so many comedic moments, but I can't say I found the humor to be particularly funny. Looks like it has some decent potential at least. |

| Another pretty good series, this season already turned out to be much better than I expected and there is still few more shows to go. It's hard to grade this anime in general though as after first episode all I know about the story is that the show will be about detectives with super powers. Where the story will go from now on is uncertain but the show looks good, have good characters, have good voice actors doing those characters. OST is good as well. There is definitely a lot of promise. Once again, now that the set up is done, show me the story. |
| tbh, i don't really like the atmosphere in this series. not dislike or hate it, just okay with it but.....it's kinda weird. probably because of the character. too many boys with that kind of personality and it makes me sick LOL.... overall i like the episode. it was interesting i guess ? :D action not really that hype to me, just a good one. animation looks really great imo. and for me ED song is more better than the OP song. i can't say i enjoy it so much, just enjoy it....... Suicide Fetish tho...that is new to me xD |

| I just wanna say I really love the character design,they all look so gorgeous. And I already love Dazai lmao. I liked that they showed both the OP and ED,they are pretty nice. Ah and the OST- I'm already loving it. The ED had some gay vibes tbh which is a +1 |
| AMAZING! Atsushi and Dazai will make a great pair. The setting is intriguing with supernatural added in the mix. I enjoyed the humor at the diner. Kunikida and Dazai are quite the Yin and Yang. Looking forward to the mysteries this team encounters. |

| I really enjoyed this episode and it certainly didn't disappoint. Bit more comedic than I thought it'd be but it didn't take anything away from the 'seriousness' of the show either. I thought the animation quality was fantastic. Especially with the scenery |

| This excels when it isnt trying to be funny. I find it to be interesting when it tackles the serious moments. The biggest fault with this episode is a bunch of repetition. I get it we were supposed to feel bad as well as connect the tiger and kid together but it was way too spoon-fed. Idk how many times they shoehorned the same scene about him being useless or what not. It didnt take long to realize he was the tiger. You literally dont have to be a detective to know this lol. But back to my previous, the comedic moments were a bit out of place. This is classic Bones behavior however so I'm used to it. Wish they would keep the comedy and serious moments separate rather than simultaneously position them within the same minute. The story doesn't seem that unique, I get the same Kekkai Sensen vibes. Kid got powers, we let him join our group. Overall I am just being critical because this show excels in so many other places. If this show isn't just the seasonal fluff, and looking by the effort put into the product, it shouldnt be treated as such. So its good to be critical about good things so you dont end up clouding your judgement just because this isnt the standard, but the exceptional. Im looking forward to the next episode. 4/5. |
