| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That's one heck of a legend for the Beast Spear. Not bad. Eh, it looks like Ushio gets into some trouble of his own:  It was kinda interesting about Asako's story I guess. Episode felt kinda fast but it looks like they figured out the root of the problem for Reiko. |

| Man, I love this show. Fantastic episode, I really like ghost stories about paintings. I wonder if Reiko and the other guy are recurring characters, it seems like they know the secret of Ushio and Tora now. |

| I couldn't stop laughing at the beginning parts with Ushio's dad LMFAOOOOO poor guy had a heart attack and a stroke at the same time xDDDD The rest of the episode was pretty great and I really liked finding out about Reiko's issues and past with her father... The entire situation and the way the characters all interacted with one another was done really well and I commend Mappa for a job well done Action was top notch as usual and we get more funny moments between Ushio and Tora too....The 90's feel from this anime was at its strongest I this episode imo and a few times I got some Yu Yu Hakusho vibes even which I LOVED |

| Tora's such a tsundere XD Poor Ushio's daddy lol...when he realized the basement was opened and the spear is out XD Dat reaction face LMAO So we have our first few characters that found out about Ushio. I was wondering why no one was talking about the TV thing from last ep but I guess they just put it aside for now. I expected the first to find out to be Asako so I'm surprised. And these 2 took it rather lightly ^^; Lots of epic faces. Dem Demon faces especially :O So Reiko and Ken are gonna be recurring characters? |

| Wow! This episode was amazing! Turns out it was some sort of curse? Ushio and Tora got rid of it and the girl finally smiled! This show is looking very good so far. Let's just hope they don't somehow mess it up. |

| Reiko's dad is so overprotective, it probably won't be wrong to say he had daughter complex. Also, lets not forget that the paining was a nude. Tora being tsundere for Ushio as usual, which is getting a bit repetitive, but still fun to watch. Hopefully we'll see the opposite happen sometime in future too. Decent episode. Doesn't this Reiko looks a lot similar to the Reiko from Kiseijuu? O.o |

| Really thought the spear stabbed her for a second. Good guy spear. This show successfully manages to give the viewer the 90s vibes. It definitely's got to be top 3 for me this season |

| Ahhhhhhh, I just love this series SO MUCH. From the first second till the last. This episode was great and heartwarming ... Although Tora ruined the moment :D. Their interaction is so funny. And that ED song is my favorite of the season. |

| Really enjoying this series more and more. Tora is definitely one of the best characters this season. | Tora's the real star of this show. I hope we get some episodes that are more focused on how he reacts to modern society, as well as him interacting with Ushio & day to day life. Ushio's fine I guess, thought he's still a cookie-cutter good-natured anime protagonist, like many others we have today. Him, Shirou from FSN and many others of their kind are dime a dozen. More often than not, I feel as if you could take them from their specific shows and put them in another and it wouldn't feel so out of place. But I find it interesting that this shows that such protagonists were a thing of old school anime as well, which is only natural. Everything has to draw it's roots from something after all. |

| I am in total love with this show. I mean, it did seem fast but it felt right for how everything worked out. And the dad totally owned when he saw the door had been opened. TOTAL SHOCK The only thing I wasn't too happy about was he control over the spear, wish we saw some training or something as right now it looks like he can master it. just seemed rushed IMO. So does that mean that Reiko and the dude will be able to see Tora from now on or was that just due to the demon dad being around?? Oh and my jaw dropped thinking he really killed Reiko, really happy that the spear can't hurt humans. |
