| Can't quite understand why people keep comparing this to Clannad. This came out first, so really it should be the other way round. Pretty good, although the arc as a whole seem a little bit lacking/rushed. |

To put it simply, the woman we see in the past who was forced to kill her child (because the villagers thought the child was cursed) ends up possessing Kano after she touched the cursed feather. It was because of the remorse of the bereaved mother that it turned into rage, as she threatened Yukito's life with that stranglehold at the end of the 3rd episode. After she learned that Kano herself had lost her mother and the guilt that Kano felt for feeling that she was the cause of her mom's death, the wrath of the old women calmed, and Yukito was able to use a feather and some sort of magical power to cast the woman out of Kano. Then of course Kano is able to reconcile with her mom and learns how happy her mom was to see Kano, and that Kano shouldn't feel any sort of guilt at all. So, no. Kano is not reincarnation. She was merely partially possessed by the sad mother from long ago. |
| Fantastic! Thanks so much. Very interesting and well-said. When I started thinking about it later... I started getting it more. It's one of those animes that makes you think hours later and things make more sense. Again, thanks for the help! |

| I sure hope they will start explaining things soon. The amount of 'wtf' is a bit too much. It's kind of annoying :/ Kana's story was ok I guess, the anime is too short to actually develop the characters and their stories, it feels very rushed and lacking, therefore I couldn't really get emotionally invested in it much. I hope that at least Misuzu's story will be complete. |

| To be this fair, this series is only 13 episodes long so don't expect fully detailed arcs. But hopefully all the arcs will connect by the end of this series. |
| Well this was really confusing, and I did rewatch the main parts of the previous episodes before continuing the show. I don't know what this was supposed to be but I didn't touch me at all. I was surprised but that was because I don't understand this arc at all... I guess the good parts are still to come. |

| Mmh, this was ok. I like this show, but I was expecting more subtle supernatural, more between the lines than this much explicit and I dare say banal. It's sad, because the explanation were not hand in glove with the build up, which was good. But what lifted up the whole and prevented the whole thing to sink was the great writing and script. This show has a very good script. And I aso like the strange atmosphere it has, quite nostalgic. 3/5 |

Interesting analysis. I was confused as well about the relation between that woman and Kano; all of this helps me appreciate this little story a bit more. Still, yeah, it wasn't nearly as emotional as it could have been. |

| So that was... the Kano arc? Kinda confusing if you ask me. Still don't get what the feather's point is. Or why was Kano affected by it. I'm guessing the feather brings tragedy and dispair to those who touch it, hence the reason why that woman from the past ended up with that destiny. I'm glad Kano at least got a chance to meet her mom and say a final farewell. |
