| Is it wrong for me to think that the best episodes in this series are usually the ones without unnecessarily long fight scenes like this? I really enjoyed this episode and I found Usopp very entertaining. Plus, I"m digging where the show is going with Nami. |

In fact that is what i enjoy bout the show mostly, is the dramatic and emotional level of the characters in the series, watching all the struggles they go through and how they overcome there pasts, is what really makes the characters of OP seem alot more real. |

Besides that, I've got a good feeling about this arc, something about the direction it's going in intrigues me. I hope Nami turns out as interesting as she's promising to be... |

| Usopp leaving Zoro was so out of character, even though him being timid wasn't. But I guess that was done for plot reasons. Still gettin real tired of Nami's shit. Better have a good reason for what she's doing. New ED is meh, but much better than the last one by far. Still gives off a bit of spoiler though. |

The characters and the world make this show much more interesting than the fight scenes. I'd honestly be fine if the fights become shorter as the show goes on... but something tells me that's not how shounen series become popular, so it'll likely go the other direction. :( Anyway, I like the new ending. It's much better than the first. Also, new plot developments with the seven warlords. I'm guessing we'll be seeing a lot of those warlords as the show goes on. Hazuk4shii said: Bad girl Nami. | It's still so god damn weird that Usopp has the same exact voice of Inuyasha when they have completely opposite personalities and appearance. They couldn't be any more different. Also looks like Nami has some sort of connection with the two humans inside the village? Maybe she's siding with Arlong to keep them safe? |

| Even when tied up and interrogated Zoro doesn't lose one sense of his pride, confidence, or aggression, so gar. When Usopp left Zoro behind it made me realize, yes he can stand up for what he believes in no matter the opposing force, but... he doesn't necessarily believe in Zoro enough just yet to try and stand up against fishmen. I definitely overestimated him a bit. But despite this cowardly act, Usopp and Johnny made have saved all of their lives. Zoro's greatest strength may be his unrivaled ability to pridefully take everything head on and never back down once, but it's also very clearly his weakness. I have to concede it was pretty funny for both Usopp and Johnny to leave behind Zoro only to say, "Forgive us, we'll tell Luffy you were a brave man", only to happily start swimming for dry land. Especially when you take into account the karma Usopp got when Johnny did the exact same thing to him. This episode set up for so much. Luffy, Sanji, and Yosaku about to get attacked by Momoo, a monster from the grandline that's bigger than their ship. Zoro is taken as a prisoner. Nami is a traitor, who I think will clearly try and kill Arlong and join back. Usopp is knocked out and saved by what looked like the people in Nami's flashback in the new ED. Johnny is now alone too. There's a lot of directions this could go, I'm excited to continue. Let's see if my suspicion was right and the formula will be changed. And to agree with people in this thread, the characters are what's great about this anime, the fights were lacking up until Mihawk and Don Krieg. However, the fights before it were only lacking as fights since they had plenty and plenty of character development and exploration within them. |

| My first purposeful experience with One Piece was actually the Arlong Arc remastered special so I hope that watching the TV version this time will impact me just as much~ Sneaky Nami being sneaky and conniving as usual. |
