| Good first episode, I liked the atmosphere. I found some of the characters to be quite annoying and some of the dialogue made me smile(not because it was funny) but I will definitely watch more. |

| Starting a new series is something anyone can do. Now, finishing it is a different story. As far as this first episode goes, they might as well have grabbed only a mere finger on that hand that is my attention. But I will continue to watch. (-.^) Looking forward to the next! |

| That sure was weird. The character design looks way off. It doesn't fit in at all, especially compared to the rather realistic background. Not to mention it looks utterly ridiculous. |
Didn't really care for this first episode. It was so bland I had trouble forming an opinion of it. And so many characters were introduced during this episode that there's no way I'd remember any of their names. That said, the ending was sad and it did leave enough to make me want to learn more. Let's see where this goes. |

| Ok.... so plot kind a hooked me up to watch next eps. HOWEVER: 1) Megumi REALLY got on my nerves!!! I hate girls like her!! :/ all those village people look so nice, I mean that girl - Megumi's 'friend' and her dog are so sweet and friendly yet Megumi is fu**in' proud and like 'I HAAAAATE THIS VILAAAAAAGE!!!' , well it does not like u as well, bitch, bam u're dead :DDDD Anyway I can bet she will become a damn vampire o smt. pity I wish they took her out of show. 2) Kinda liked drawing style, kinda didnt. like the hair of mysterious lady... WTF! D: |

| I picked this up because I'm in the mood for a spook...but most of the episode I was just annoyed but that bitch!! D: other than that it has that rural spooky atmosphere as Higurashi so I think it's going to be fine. |

| one of the most mysterious and unique anime's iv'e seen for awhile now. even in some scenes it reminded me of Higurashi. the animation is freaking awesome, the atmosphere and used of music is so dark it makes you wonder why people are dying everyday. shame Megumi died from an a simple anemia?? i feel there's gonna be a pandemic like in Higurashi but with a twist. amazing stuff, hope to see more episodes :) |

| Very interesting start, it was rather confusing and allot of different themes of story development poped up but the main looks very interesting, the character design was also rather unique and fits the atmosphere quite good! Though the main character already being killed off seems fishy I rather think she'll transform in a ghost or something within those lines. The OP & ED are quite good as well especially the opening sequence! Still quite epic first episode from this first I'd give it a 9/10 |

| I like the atmosphere, it seems to me that she died of getting her youth sucked away or something haha. Maybe that is why she is so good looking (the rich lady). |

It slowly picks up the pace and around the halfway point it gets so incredibly fucked up. By the end I was emotionally exhausted. This show doesn't pull any punches. PS: Remember to watch Shiki specials. They are probably the best 2 episodes of the whole show. |

| The eyes are a tad weird, and I guess it makes the characters look a little creepy? Definitely a very mysterious start, nothing much else to say. Except, who the hell blasts their headlights into someone's window and honks continuously just so they can get directions? Don't normal people ring the doorbell...well I guess it's because they're not normal. Just look at that hair. Looks like cat ears or something. |

| First episode was pretty boring for me, Megumi and Kaori were constantly getting on my berves and I have to say, I was pretty darn happy that Megumi died. There's definitely something weord about the place and by that OP and ED, it definitely has something to do with the short purple haired little girl (who turns into that blondie, as I saw in the OP?). |

I didn't really understood what was going on, but what we have for now : - Three old people death with one of them being alive will her husband was dead for several days. - A mysterious european manor with creepy owner. - An annoying girl that died several days after being found in the forest with sign of a disease. - An emo guy that doesn't talk a lot and that look to the south. - A lot of weird haircut :P I don't know where this is going and there's already a lot of death for a small village... |

| The opening was not really my style, but I guess is not that bad, so I can dealt with it. I know everyone hates Megumi but I actually liked her, oh well. The whole thing is about vampires so I'm really hoping that this is not another cliche anime about it. I guess I'll know about that in the next episode or so. |
