| Guideau is usually angry and violent but in this episode, she seemed even more angrier than usual. Of course, that meant he took action with her fists. She isn't afraid of troops in the city and definitely not Helga either. It seems they even have a bit of character rivalry this episode. Definitely worth to keep an eye on. |

| Back to Guideau and Ashaf. I missed them. The story moves from The Fourth Continent to The Third Continent, situated near the holy city of the Global Holy Church. Ashaf is concerned that their encounter with a witch might be hindered this time by the presence of the witch hunt specialists, "The Paladin Corps," due to the location. Despite a sense of foreboding, Guideau and Ashaf manage to enter the city. Upon arrival, they discover that the witch, Helga, is under attack by The Paladin Corps. Perplexed by her weakened state, Guideau engages in a heated confrontation with The Paladin Corps to protect the witch from being harmed further. I can't help but wonder about the relationship between the Order of Magical Resonance, the Paladin Order, and the Holy Church. It's clear that the Holy Church and Paladins cooperate, but their goals seem to diverge at times. Helga comes across as a good witch, and her demon sword companion, Ashgan, doesn't seem to harbor any sinister intentions... at least not yet. What really surprised me was Ashgan's ability to talk. Its nonchalant mention of this being normal struck me as odd; are there other swords out there that can speak? Regardless, I'm excited to see where Helga and Ashgan's journey leads them. |

| Yo, forget the main duo, i really want to watch some kind of a spin-off about that holy army of the church, you know every bonker fantasy story is better with an organisation like that. Tho i must say i was not expecting the paladin corps being this much anime, lol. |

| This new witch, Helga, seems kind of young and inexperienced, and she is also apparently innocent from the murders. But then who murdered the victims? It was stated that the Paladin Corps have a dark side so they may be involved. Regarding Guideau, it's a shame that this witch is not the one she's after but she'll protect Helga, and on that note I'm looking forward to the upcoming fight. |

| A new witch, Helga, is from a lineage where they are weak but possess demon swords that could destroy the world. She took one with her, and she is trying to escape from the city. She doesn't seem that bad, and it seems that she wasn't the cause of the murders. Also, Ashaf and Guideau are back, and I do miss them, not gonna lie. I like Phanora and Johan, but they can't beat the main duo. |

| The Witch and the Demon Sword doesn’t have as interesting as an opening / premise as some of the past mysteries. I’m still looking forward to seeing how it will play out though. (6/10) |

| It's a good thing Guideau has such a good partner in Ashaf, who conveniently uses everything at his disposal to make their lives easier, especially when it comes to tough missions like this. |

| Feels like the Paladin corps basically themselves do crimes and make that an excuse to kill/capture witches in the area. Hopefully I'm wrong, but this Dark side of them makes me speculate |
| Once again, this week's witch character looks anything but ordinary. Perhaps Helga might also be more sided with the main duo than with the antagonists... despite the fact of being held inside a pokeball for a while ^^ . |

| Guideau finally returned after not appearing before. It seems that they aim to negotiate with the witch named Helga. Even though she is said to be weak, I think she is strong. Especially with demon sword. Great episode again. Next Helga x Guideau against Cugat who has the ice element.  |

| So the last characters in the OP that weren't shown yet appear now. I guess this means this arc will last until the end of the season. Oh, Fyodo- I mean, Ishida Akira! And I instantly recognized the witch as Karane from 100 gfs lol. The VA's name is Tomita Miyu. Holup, she also voices Miko from Kaguya-sama, damn. Nice episode. Helga and the Demon Sword seem really interesting. And I'm glad that the church isn't evil this time (or they don't seem to be at least. I hope.). They are quite badass actually. |

| Animation is a slide show at times, was expected from this studio. As for the plot still lots of things are vague that I wanna know which would probably be answered next epsiode but unfortunately it's postponed. Guideau and Helga would make a fun duo, so looking forward to them working together. |
| The focus has been renew and we got a new girl in the mix. This current arc is off to a strong start. This is still a tough show to read for me. Though, it's going in the right direction. |

| The corrupt 'Global Holy Church' obviously want the Demon Sword in order to rule the world.. "Power corrupts the corruptible", as Frank Herbert said. I was not aware all swords talked though. That was... illuminating ๐ |

| Back to Guideau and Ashaf this episode. This world seem to be pretty deep, we got Paladin Corps and a demon sword now to contend with. |
| With Guideau earnest for another witch case, Ashaf is just delaying her thirsts, and their next case is a rather finicky one: meet and claim the Witch, while facing the Paladin Corps as well, so this case is a free-for-all. Getting their way out of the Paladin Corps is easy enough, though in another sense, Commander Cugat has a priority on capturing the witch as well, operating out of the lingering floating Castle. This is something that the Order of Magical Resonance is prepared for, though these things are delicate. The Paladin Corps working with the Church to identify the witch, and it seems that they have more inept information, though they're just interested in capturing her, which both Guideau and Ashaf did. And since she's not at her full potential, she's considered the weakest thus far based on her Ultoma. Even from a well-established family whose combat lineage is not the best, the descendant of the Dauntless Witch Quena Velvette, Helga, she has the ability to destroy the world, by having a Demon Sword. The only way to keep into her good graces is to negotiate terms with both her and Ashgan, and the extent of the case itself is more than just her involvement alone. For now, Helga goes on her ways, but still, the both of them have a duty to shield her from the Paladin Corps, and most importantly, from Cugat. |

| Helga and her sword telekinesis powers are pretty neat. With what Ashaf said about her not being willing to kill, and the shadiness of that church emissary, I truly think there's more to this witch killing tale then what is being let on! |

| Helga's design is neat tho her power isn't that interesting. Maybe she's hiding most of it? It's funny that the crew gets to team up with a witch tho. |
