Yoko Kanno is soooo good. I haven't seen The Vision of Escaflowne, but I was unaware of who did the OST. Was it worth the watch? I also love that you bond with the little one through anime. đŸ’

Sorry to hear about those problems. I wish you a speedy recovery!

Kids on the Slope was so good, right? I didn't know what to expect at first given the "ehh" animation style, but I was pleasantly surprised that it became one of my favorites!

Hey! I'm watching Nodame Cantabile and found you in the forums there. You mentioned you played piano, do you still play? I ordered a digital piano last month, but it has yet to arrive. However, watching shows like Hibike! Euphonium and Nodame Cantabile are only getting me more ready for this endeavor, ha. Cheers!

Haha I can completely understand not wanting to set aside something until it's done. Tbh I get the same feeling too, I guess I've just learned to prioritize what I feel is most worthwhile. I don't set aside as much time for entertainment today as I did as a teenager, so that's sort of become a no choice. I do try not to drop content though. I'll usually just try NOT to pick anime I feel I won't enjoy beforehand, though some can be very, very deceiving!

But I guess my parents would kill me for wasting years of education.

Sorry for the late reply.
My parents would probably do the same to me. It wasn't cheap to go University, best put my degree to some use.

I haven't left a comment on your page in years, so I'm just dropping by to say... hey. haha.

I would go as far to purchase them (Being from the UK). I can imagine the curious questions from my non-anime related friends or family "Oh didn't know you had a kid?" or something along those lines, but screw it.

I just watched an anime called Hotarubi no Mori e, have you seen it? Will definitely be in your top 2 crying anime but the anime itself is so powerful with how they present their emotions and story, that calling that is an injustice lol.

I have only got into Anime again in the last 2 years or so, so it's like I have time traveled a bit with some shows or stuff I wish I saw them earlier. By the way, I'm so glad you discovered IRC... it's literally the safe haven of anime if you know where to look.
