She‘s supposed to be the „bitchy“ , tough Girl. So that makes up 80% of her personality, beeing bitchy and agressive. It‘s incedibly flat and one-dimensional. |

You dislike Guideau but Revy is one of your favorite characters? Revy was the first character that came to mind when I met Guideau

| Yahoo i'm a year late but i'm putting in my two cents. Guideau might have character development late, but as far in the anime it's very bland. Solid design and I can see the personal motives, but the personality is lacking. The rough-badass attitude is done quite often that it's an archetype, not a character. It's been a severely long time since I watched Black Lagoon, but Revy has a fully realized personality. She loves the action, loves alcohol, and the famous church scenes shows she doesn't care for thugs. Not ground breaking, but enough to fill out a tinder profile. Beyond story motivations, who is Guideau as a person? What do they like or dislike beyond witches and being angry? So far as the anime shows, they might?? like food but that's also a plot point as a way to heal their body. There's not much to humanize the character, it may change in the manga, but this is an anime thread lmao. 6/10, the basics are there for a good character, just needs more seasoning and a bit more cook time. |
