| It’s a definite 10 out of 10! Not only does it have the best animation I’ve ever seen (Violet Evergarden is the only one that comes even close!), it’s also the best shounen of all time imo! :) |

| It's good, but I think some parts can make me lose interest. I kinda zoned out in the first season once Tanjiro goes to the Demon Slayer HQ. Season 2 is good, but I thought the Entertaiment District fight went on a little too long. |
| It's good enough for it to get carried by the Animation. If it's shit then I doubt it'll be good even if it got the greatest animation in the history of humanity. But I can't remember most of the shit that happened outside of crazy fight. |

| I say yes, it's a solid shounen. Nothing spectacular that would change the way the whole genre is perceived by the majority of audience, but still a very enjoyable shounen anime. Where it shines the most are traditional Japanese elements and symbolism. Kimetsu no Yaiba is filled to the brim with them. Also, the setting (Taisho era) is really nice as well. Sadly, the former of things I mentione is often missed by many Westerners, due to their lack of knowledge about said elements. Heck, I even learn from time to time about certain details having their roots in Japanese tradition, or certain meaning that's obvious for people who are really into Japanese culture. And we are talking only about the arcs animated so far, with several arcs still yet to be adapted. |

| Not particularly.. A common complaint is that the male characters are often boorish, loud and annoying.. While the female characters tend to be portrayed as meek, servile lust objects.. There were signs in the first season.. But these characterizations have since become much more prominent.. |

| I would say their start was good when it was about Tanjiro trying everything to get Nezuko back but then when the story line about going in a journey with a hashira and fighting a strong demon kept happening, thats where the plot didnt stand out like and it got repetitive fast. I dont expect much now, I hope i'm proved wrong though |

| Yes we get it Demon Slayer is popular and is carried by animation. What's frustrating is that people are still complaining about how well recieved Demon Slayer is. Demon Slayer is definitely better than other shonen but it's not the best. To put it simply Demon Slayer does its job of being a good action shonen. I came for the fights and leave satisfied each time. |

| kny is complete garbage but the best material to keep the normies entertained for a long run, with the treatment it's getting personally, I'd vomit all over the place if I watched the show, so I just go to sakugabooru and enjoy the best cuts |
| I've only watched around 10 or so episodes, and it's solid. The story's really nothing to write home about but it has a decently compelling setting. The animation really is the highlight though. |

| Even my shounen obsessed buddy who binged it in a few days told me it was boring. I only watched the first season eons ago and gave it a 5/10. The first episode hook pissed me off, the characters are cardboard, I don't care about any of the character relationships ESPECIALLY Tanjirou and Nezuko's, the urgency of everything really fucks the pacing. I'm sure this can be lobbied at other shounen for sure but with it being so well polished by ufotable I feel like the story just falls beneth the cracks. |

| It's popularity is just because of it's animation and anyone thinking otherwise is just on copium, like I get of highest selling manga bs as that's also because of its anime. Ufotable is behind it as they made a B-tier manga into such a phenomena that it raked in billions of dollar and became a mainstream anime. It's gonna be this popular till it ends and after that it will be forgotten as its high burning dopamine food and won't leave any after thoughts as now every other show is trying to be best in animation so kny being special in that one department doesn't or won't hold any light in near future. But I won't deny its success. |

| If we remove the work's production and soundtrack criteria and judge it only by script and characters, I believe it would be neither good nor bad. It is an example of an orthodox Battle Shonen route, which inherits a large amount of characteristics from classics like Naruto, but which, I must say, I believe it does more competently than some other Battle Shonens of today. Every work of this type has almost the same problems for me, and Kimetsu no Yaiba is no exception. However, at the same time, I believe that there is a superiority of it in relation to other examples like Jujutsu Kaisen, Boku no Hero Academia, etc. For example, while I think the comedy in both shows is awful and should be removed completely, I believe JJK has even worse handling of humor. Although KnY is not the pinnacle of substance, I also value more the backstories that are applied to it, unlike JJK which employs several and several moments in which it is a "show by show" and bets all its chips on being mere dynamic action. Tanjirou and Midoriya are BS protagonists who follow a very similar archetype, however I see much greater depth and development in Tanjirou due to the way Gotouge writes his monologues into the story and the immersion these provide. So while I don't think KnY is any good, I also think it's not bad by Battle Shonen standards. |
