| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice usage of music this episode. Felt like that made it more thrilling with the action. We got talk about bonds and family. Not only is Tanjirou fighting but also Inosuke isn't backing down without a fight. I'd say that the demons in this series are getting more cunning and tougher with every episode. Inosuke is awesome. |

| Gotta admire Inosuke's spirit, dude didn't give up till he had no more left, well he kinda gave up but remembering the old lady and Tanjiro telling him to survive gave him just the push he needed until Giyu came in to kill the daddy demon, dude is OP af, and he uses the same technique that the old man teached Tanjiro, breath of the water style but stronger, he had no problem slicing a more powered up ver of the spider. That cliffhanger was dirty, did Tanjiro just got.. sliced? thought he had that spider brat then and there, seeing his sword suddenly get sliced caught me off guard... maybe Nezuko came in just in time to help him or something, wonder how he's gonnaa fight now that his sword got sliced. |

| Good episode. We see Inosuke fighting against that creepy demon. He managed to hold his own, though the demon was too strong for him. His swords are broken. Good thing Giyuu was there to save him. The way he sliced that creepy demon, he's just too strong. I want to see more of him. Speaking of getting sliced, I felt bad for that random demon slayer that got sliced. That ending... Tanjiro's sword is broken. Wonder how he will fight from now on. We never saw Nezuko in this episode. |

| Great episode as always. Did not expect Giyuu to totally just wreck the Dad, especially since he wasn't supposed to be one of the Junikizuki. Inosuke's fight was kinda funny but it had a lot of heart in it. I knew Giyuu would save him but damn that scene where the Dad demon was crushing his skull was crazy. Glad to see that Zenitsu received help too, was the girl who helped him voiced by Hayami Saori? Tanjiro's katana was broken? Never expected that either. Wonder if he'll be able to fight with a broken katana. Can't wait for next week. |

| Looks like the vets finally managed to arrive. Its nice to see Shinobu finally take to the field. I guess even among the corps there are those who prefer to take the easy way up the ladder. The guy at least got what he deserved. Still the kid like his father sure were formidable opponents. Though its curious in how much he valued the idea of a family despite the fact that the relationship within it was anything but warm. The father gaining another form though sure was interesting as while presenting a serious threat it also allowed us to see a more human side to Inosuke in the form of showing fear. But man he sure had a really close call there. A strong ep as always that while continuing with the forest arc also did well in introducing the father and son demons as well as the character of Shinobu. While brief it was also nice to see some expansion on Inosuke as well. |

| Well now that Inosuke and Monjiro got their swords snaped guess the vets will handle most of the fights from now and probably the next arc will be something about reforging their swords, just a guess. |
| Lol Giyuu didn't even try. It was nice seeing Inosuke showing fear for once though. He managed to hold his own long enough. I hope Tanjiro's fight won't last too long. | Holy Fudge, this was some Episode! Animation for the entire show has been mesmerising but even then I feel as though this episode totally outdid all the previous episodes! Mate, the level of detail put into the water scene there was freakin’ lit! Damn, Giyuu’s introduction though, bloody amazing with the addition of those footsteps right before the climax. Mad props to Inosuke though, he really gave it his all despite the odds. A big stand of ovation to Matsuoka-san though, that was some amazing VA there! Looks like he’s finally understood the meaning behind the words of the Inn Grandma too, quite the moment of realisation imo, and was that his mother/elder sister there? Looks like he’s been through a lot, no wonder. A little surprised that the Twelve Kizuki member was beaten that easily though, was he really a part of the Twelve Kizuki or is Giyuu just Muzan-level or something? Anyway, on the other side of things, it looks like Zenitsu’s managed to hold on just about enough. Hayami Saori’s gold voice plus that beautiful introduction, oh boy that was sublime! Looks like Tanjirou’s in real deep trouble though, after all that provocation (which was abolsutely on the mark). Had goosebumps there seeing the thread just cut through the blade and vroom in to the screen. Can’t wait to see how he survives the ordeal! Will Nezuko-chan intervene to save the day? |

| Great episode...it was nice to see Inosuke fighting solo for once, and we got a small glance at his past. The fight between Tanjiro and the other spider demon was less interesting and got left on a cliffhanger. On the bright side, we got to see demon-corps-dude-who's-name-i-cant-remember-because-he-hasn't-showed-up-since-episode-5-or-something! Yeah, he was a badass. |

| It's a special form of cruelty to leave the episode on that massive cliffhanger! My god, my heart was pounding through this whole ep! It was cool seeing a more vulnerable side of Inosuke... just wish he hadn't had to go through that! I love the music in this series but i feel like this week especially it was really awesome and helped build the scenes well |

| That's one dirty cliffhanger, the katana breaking caught me off guard. Like others have mention it does seem Tanjirou is fighting the real deal, I'm sure Giyuu is super strong but I can't imagine defeating a real moon would be that easy. |
| Inosuke hammered the oni's arm multiple times, yet it did nothing to defend itself. The oni swung his arm to hit Inosuke, but the boy had enough time to have a flashback and mood changes and he even got to yell out a few words. Yet, Inosuke still called the oni 'fast'. I would have preferred Inouske dying here, but I know Jump won't let it happen. Actually, I am surprised even a background character died. I am curious—however— to know how the character passed his exam while being so bad at demon slaying. I was happy to hear a song play with lyrics in Kajiurago. Though, I was sad I couldn't hear Keiko and Wakana's voices. Did they quit Fiction Junction as well? |
| I want Tanjiro to meet up with Giyuu ASAP! Idk why but I want him to see how much Tanjiro has changed since they last met. That cliffhanger.. if these cliffhangers keep on getting dirtier I might just stop watching weekly and binge it altogether at the end. I MISS NEZUKO TOO Edit: I would die for the animators of this anime.. the work is just mesmerizing |

| Yall know Nezuko is going to help our boy Tanjirou out! The animation in this series seriously blows me away every week. Amazing Job. Man yall need to stop hating on my boy Inosuke. His fight was actually pretty entertaining. For a dude who is all about pride and boasting for him to run away at one point was surprising to me. He's still getting accustomed to people being his friends and caring about him and this episode just boosts that development. I'd really hate if someone besides Tanjirou took out the Spider guy he is fighting. Maybe he'll forge that Red Sword that Urukodaki and Haganezuka wanted to see. That would be cool. Need more Shinobu |

| Inosuke shone so brightly this episode ;; I teared up when he reminded the old woman's words. He was like "I don't get what she is saying at all", and yet... And the whole "I have to survive because Tanjirou said so!"... And he calling Tanjirou out with a worried voice (and yet saying "Kenjirou"). Agh, my baby! The scene where the butterfly-girl finds Zenitsu was beautiful too. The whole sequence. The OST, also. Gosh, the OST was marvelous this episode. I'm so hyped! Giyuu slashing the Father and being the badass he is was great. And OF COURSE he uses Water Breathing, but it still made me tear up. And I've been thinking it since the last episode, but... Is not the father that is the Twelve Kizuki member, is it? Is the guy Tanjirou is fighting. He is the only one that seems to have a name, also. When Tanjirou's sword broke I gasped--- and then the episode ended. How will he survive that wtfffff This anime is making me so hyped, I feel like a 12 year old. |

| I was questioning how OP these upper level demon slayers are if they can just one bang one the the elite 12 like that, but I think some commenters who suspect the kid to be the real leader is correct. It makes a lot more sense based on what we've seen so far. If that's the case I hope we don't get Tanjiro winning this fight on his own. For me to actually give a shit and feel like these 12 are strong we need the supposed elites to struggle. |

| The guy getting sliced into pieces was a shock. That web went through him like butter. Also i hope Inosuke's doing okay, it sounded like his face was getting broken. Also i miss Nezuko :( |
| I almost flinched at the cliffhanger, let's just hope that Tanjiro didn't get sliced in half. I wonder how he is going to take out that demon now that his sword is broken. Seeing Giyuu take out the Spider Demon Father was badass and it just shows that Tanjiro has a lot to learn in terms of mastering the water breathing style. |
