| Yami Shibai is really a guilty pleasure for me. I generally love it even if some of the episodes are more silly than creepy. I loved this episode. Creepy delivery guy delivering creepy packages. :D |

| I thought this was fine! It could have been done a little better, but there's something about it that kinda does make you kinda shiver. Rest in Pieces, Hasegawa. What I really liked was the way Storyteller did the intro. I usually don't watch Yami Shibai with my good headphones, but I did today, and his near whispering voice slipping into my ears kinda gave me a chill! |
| I enjoyed the first episode. Like every season before it had a slow start. I'm really looking forward for the up comming episodes and what they might bring. I rather don't want to house sit for a buddy like he had xD |

| I'm assuming from the scary red door thing they added to the opening, that rather than continuing with season's 6 decision to mix in different types of ghost stories, this season is determined to go back and double down on the horror. That's disappointing, since that variety is a large part of why last season was my favourite but if the execution is good that's all that matters. And how is the execution? Well, if the first episode is any indicator, it'll be solid this time around. This was a solid premise delivered competently, pun intended. I think what I like the most about this, is that it doesn't leave you with a jump scare, it left it to our imaginations. It built up the scenario then left us to imagine, what could happen, which is a lot more effective than a jump scare I feel. I hope Yami Shibai 7 continues writing stories in this vein. Not to credit this as a fantastic episode, but it certainly wasn't bad imo. |

| I'm scared for this season. They chose a unique premise, but it fell flat and felt ultimately forgettable to me. I think I prefer the typical ghost/monster stories because even though they can be repetitive, they end up scarier. |
