| What a cruddy neighbor even in death. From what it looks like, he had a pretty average noise level, but his older neighbor just wasn't having it. You shouldn't have to not even want to laugh out loud in your own space. |
| Yeah, this was more comical than anything else. I think the situation set-up was fine, Takayuki's decision not to call and what-not although I also found that kinda funny cause his phone seemed like 80% a number pad and didn't even look one outside of that. But that ghost stuff was just dumb, the whole tunnel thing the old man was traveling too, I don't even know what they were going for. It looks silly, and it's not something visually present to the characters, it's just for us and that's not how good horror works. We're suppose to be able to transplant ourselves in the shoes of the protagonist but that's not something we can do when we're giving additional information than them. They're not building up anticipation for what he'll do by just showing him get there. I guess they figured we already know he's going to get that, but that tunnel location thing was pretty out of place and just made it seem farcical. The ending line felt more like a punchline too, so maybe that was the point but I get the point that it was suppose to be sinister, like the ghost is going to kill them afterwards for the loud TV. Side-note, the English voices from the TV caught me off guard, I wonder if that was pulled from something or if they did it themselves. The accent sounded authentic, though I can't really check the credits since I can't read Japanese and Crunchyroll doesn't translate them. |

| That wasn't even funny let alone scary. This dude coughs, dies, becomes a ghost and comes back to haunt that tenant just because of the TV being loud. That old geezer deserved to die anyway. I hate annoying old assholes like him. They act so entitled. |

But honestly, this situation made me laugh. Dude fuckin dies, comes back as a ghost just to say to his neighbor "Your TV's too damn loud" That was fukin commitment right there. He went to hell and back just to yell at his neighbor that his tv is too loud. Imma give this season a +1 just for this ep. |
