Holy crap, does that mean we'll actually get a real simulcast anime on Netflix in the USA?

Is that what "will be releasing worldwide on Netflix following its premiere on Fuji TV's +Ultra timeslot from April 2019" means? "Following" could mean anything from an hour to six months. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/press-release/2018-11-08/carole-and-tuesday-will-be-released-worldwide-on-netflix/.139213

"Both series will debut on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNow on April 6."

When it comes to Netflix, it probably depends a bit on the region. If I remember correctly, Violet Evergarden was simulcast in Canada but not in the US, where they instead released all episodes at the end. Maybe it's a similar case here since they haven't specified any regions? I'm not too sure about more recent titles. Either way, I changed the territories a bit to make it sound less misleading.

Added Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai and Kimetsu no Yaiba to the list for Crunchyroll, FUNimation, and Hulu.
Also added Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO for FUNimation.

I find it funny how Crunchyroll advertised Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO during their anime awards but Funimation got that title instead.

Cool to see Fruits Basket land on CR though.

Surprising that Crunchyroll got Fruits Basket. I thought it was a Funimation property?

Well, I'm certainly not complaining.

I'm a bit disappointed that Fruits Basket is not available on German Crunchyroll.. here's me hoping that either Anime on Demand or Wakanim get it.

Added Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san for Animax Asia, as well as Isekai Quartet and Shoumetsu Toshi for Aniplus Asia. Thanks BOreUM!

@Hikki77 - Do you have a source for those titles? I had a look at Aniplus Asia's website for Bungou Stray Dogs III, but they haven't stated anywhere that it'll be simulcast. I don't doubt that it will be streamed since the previous seasons were, just need an official source to confirm it.

Apparently their worldwide deal with Animeism ended, which means that they don't have the rights to stream content outside of Japan. I don't have a reliable source on this though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Added RobiHachi for Aniplus Asia and Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai for Crunchyroll, with regions pending for the latter.

Fruits Basket is available for us in the Nordic countries too based on the website (their Nordic Twitter account isn't really the most active). They also announced through their VK account that it's available in Russia.

Well, it looks like Crunchyroll's listing of when Fruits Basket would be simulcast was an error after all. After all, the series doesn't even air until Friday at 9:23 am PT, almost a full 24 hours after the Thursday at 9:58 am PT that they listed initially.

They are only listing a vague "Friday" now.

Thanks, it has been confirmed to be worldwide excluding Asia per ANN's article, which also includes the streaming dates.

Changed the premiere date for Fruits Basket, thanks XerBlade. What an inconvenient way they have decided to announce things this season, geez.

VVVVID adds One Punch Man 2nd Season to the Italian region. They mention (what I assume is) Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 Part 2 on their Facebook, but I don't know if they're actually going to simulcast it. Anyone who happens to have access to VVVVID and could maybe check their catalog? Thanks!

It airs on Friday in Japan.
Funi probably didn't set an exact streamtime yet.
Keep in mind they tend to delay the first episode.

I didn't say it wasn't a simulcast. I said the time that Crunchyroll originally said it was going to simulcast it was an error. It is a simulcast, just Crunchyroll's original schedule was wrong.

Seriously, I even stated the exact time that it is broadcast in Japan, converted to the timezone Crunchyroll lists its schedules in, and how Crunchyroll's erroneous announcement had it scheduled well before that, but they fixed it later.

You really should pay close attention to what people are saying if you're going to make posts with the sole purpose of correcting them. Read, reread, and read carefully. If what they said isn't clear to you after doing that, correcting them is not the course of action you should be taking. Either ask for clarification or leave it alone.

Funimation has Fairy Gone

I didn't say it wasn't a simulcast. I said the time that Crunchyroll originally said it was going to simulcast it was an error. It is a simulcast, just Crunchyroll's original schedule was wrong.

Oh, I see. Sorry, I've somehow misread that.
But to be frank, you could have worded that better.

With regards to Funimation, they are not NA-only; I can watch their simulcasts in the UK.
Not dub-only either; they have subs.

Also they do have date and times for each of their simulcasts on their blog post:

Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki Crunchyroll launch date is April 8th, source:

Is that what "will be releasing worldwide on Netflix following its premiere on Fuji TV's +Ultra timeslot from April 2019" means? "Following" could mean anything from an hour to six months. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/press-release/2018-11-08/carole-and-tuesday-will-be-released-worldwide-on-netflix/.139213

They said it's going to premiere on Netflix the day after it's aired on TV.

https://comicbook.com/anime/2019/03/30/carole-tuesday-episode-count-opening/
Is this streaming the day after only for japan netflix only though? Cause that would leave the western side of the world having to wait for a fansub to watch it ongoing like how hisone to maso-tan was.

As it was mentioned earlier, I don't think they'll stream anything outside of Japan since their worlwide deal with Animeism supposedly ended in January.

I can't seem to find anything from them, but AnimeLab has a trailer for part 2 on their Facebook page, so I guess that's enough of a confirmation. Looks like I missed it when I compiled the thread. Thanks!

I don't have any numbers from them so I honestly have no idea. Maybe for the next season, seeing that they're expanding that programming block.
