 I'm excited to announce our 2018 Anime/Manga Challenges! A very big thank you to SheyCroix, omakase, and all their team members for organising these events for us. What does it mean to participate in these challenges? You will be watching/reading one anime/manga title for each item in your challenge list, which meets the specific criteria requested. The purpose of these challenges is not only to watch/read more, but also to go beyond your standard fare. Depending on your chosen difficulty level, you will watch/read between 20 entries to 100/60 entries. How do I join? Head over to the Sign-Up threads (linked below) and follow the directions there. After the initial rules post, we have a step-by-step How to Play instructions in both Sign-Up threads. Do I have to sign up to participate? You're welcome to take the challenge list and watch/read whichever anime/manga you like, if you don't want to play with everyone else. But signing up allows you to keep better track of your progress, compare challenge lists with other users, and gives you bragging rights with a little banner. Plus, it's an excuse to have fun in the community! So what do you think? Are you up to the challenge? PS. | It is here once again!!! Although I still haven't found my drive to watch a lot of anime (since I would have to follow my personal rules of only tv series and 100 entries!), I'll give it my all for the manga challenge :D Thank you as always for your effort you are putting it, challenge organisers :D |

| @OhTaKuSo I understand. I probably won't start the anime challenge either. But if you want to increase your manga list a bit, maybe the MRC is a good place to start? I've often considered doing the manga challenge because I tend to only read the same types of manga when left to my own devices... My anime list is much more diverse. |

| I like this year's version much better than the last year's - on the one hand more requirements for the highest difficulty so it actually feels like a challenge, on the other it's possible to avoid items I really don't want to struggle with. Also, great idea with that code generator :3 Maybe I'll even try the manga challenge this year, not only the anime one. |

| Gonna be the same ol' routine for me again unfortunately. Get hyped, reach the halfway mark fast, then abstain the challenge till the end of the year for no reason whatsoever lol :') Good luck to all challengers though! |
