Dang, the animation felt like it really dropped quality this episode. A lot of Rock Lee moments. I lol'd a few times but I think he freaked out a bit more than others. What a guy. |

| naruto shippuden well suited for action, drama and feels.. it gets too boring when they try to make comedy out of it..... the joke is too lame tbh |
| I feel like they used Lee's fiery personality and tendency to overreact as an excuse to be skimpy with the animation budget. The Orochimaru/Yamato parts continue to be the only parts that actually make me laugh. However, I do enjoy watching these guys get an opportunity to relax and live like normal people instead of worrying about missions and fighting. |

This episode was directed, storyboarded and animation supervised by Masahiko Murata who just uses a lot of expressive Kanada-style animation and he's also going to handle the next episode as well. If you don't know what "Kanada-style" animation is then I'm sure you're familiar some of Trigger's work like Gurren Lagann directed Hiroyuki Imaishi. TTGL was largely a passionate homage to Yoshinori Kanada’s works and style by using a lot of cool, exaggerated action poses and inventive perspectives. I don't think any sane person would argue TTGL was skimping on animation budget just because of its different style. |

| The animation was wacky. Lee and Guy-sensei trying to figure out what wedding gift to get was amusing. Seeing Orochimara/Yamato around in Konoha and Neji making a cameo as a ghost was funny. |

| This was over the top. It's really refreshing to watch the peaceful everyday life od Konoha but I have a one simple question, what the hell is Orochimaru doing? It was so funny to watch him all over the place with Yamato shadowing him. And why didn't Yamato let Konohamaru tape his message for Naruto? It would have been awesome. |

| OH my god, I haven't laughed that hard in weeks. What a hilarious episode, Masahiko Murata's animation style works great with the flamboyant and unique personalities in Naruto, I love it. 5/5 Really looking forward to the next episode |

| This episode was STRANGE and bizzare. There's been over 700 episodes of Naruto and none of them had a look quite like this. So much of it was off model and had non-conventional character expressions. The rare times when the art was on model, the character designs looks great and unique. Also, this episode got way too bogged down in just exploring Lee's journey to think of a gift. |

| wow.. this really brought me back to Naruto SD memories! Nice touch considering this is all centered on Rock Lee and Ten Ten. I took back what I said last week about Ten Ten being the least attractive though.. that should go to Karui/Shizune now |

| Its nice to see an episode that focuses on each of Naruto's friends though With Lee and his team being the focus here Hmm its nice see Shino again though Lol his beetles overflowing and engulfing Kiba as well Lee is definitely all fired up with his flaming eyes as well From this episode onwards the main plot will be Naruto's friends missions in getting the gifts that they have been assigned to and their antics eh. Its nice to see Shino again though. At the same time its nice to see Lee so motivated though. Despite being so motivated Lee has no idea on what he's getting eh. At the same time its nice to see the cast so motivated to get the gifts though. Lol Iruka disguised as a frog statue. Wow Naruto's usual Ramen is pretty large eh. So for Lee to understand the gift that Naruto would want he has to first understand Naruto first eh. Good thinking there lee. The fire effect for Lee though is funny. Though having his ramen would only let you know why he likes it but nothing else. Though its nice to see Lee so fired up and serious though. Lol i don't think dumbbells would be a good idea for gifts though. Thinking that Naruto would get overly focused on building muscle and neglect Hinata lol. Doubt that will happen. The unofficial leaf village mascot looks pretty cute. Its nice to see that Lee isn't alone in his struggle as well as TenTen is as well. Tenten's reactions to marriage was pretty cute. Hmm since she trains every day from day to night Kunai is probably not a good idea. Still she's cute when she's angry. Hmm looking at the tools that they can gift to them is a sound idea. Its funny seeing Lee look through the draws while doing handstands. Using a sword to cut a cake does seem a waste though. Lee's ideas though are hillarious though like using a tonfa to hang help with laundry. In the end they weren't able to decide on anything eh. Lol Neji's ghost just appearing at that moment though. But its nice to Iruka finally managed to get his message done though. To think that the matter is bothering lee so much though. Man thats some impressive black eyes. Lol Orochimaru and Yamato though. But at the same time as Iruka pointed out its nice to see that Naruto has friends that would go so far to make him happy though. Guy is the one that knows Lee the best eh. Lee and Guys discussions always end up going off topic though lol poor Tenten though. Lol to find the perfect gift they have to role play as the bride and groom eh. With Tenten as the baby no less lol. Poor tenten. And round and round we go to once again end up at dumbbells eh lol. Well i guess they decided on what gifts to give to Naruto and Hinata then. And its nice to see Iruka decide to know Naruto better as well. This was a pretty funny episode though and it was so hillarious. |
