| DP finds a way. 6/5 would insult Josuke's hair again Real talk, I have zero complaints about this episode: with all the bitching about the "butter faces" in the PVs I somehow convinced myself that the actual episodes wouldn't look so good in comparison with the earlier parts, but I'm glad to say I was wrong. The chara designs are stylish as hell and the color palette for the town of Morioh is top notch. Animation wise, as others have pointed out, this particular aspect has never been this studio's strong suit, but I'd say what we got this episode was perfectly standard fare DP animation so no complaints there either, especially when the visuals completely make up for it. As for the choice of seiyuu, I don't really have an element of comparison since I've never played the ASB game, but I adore Josuke's voice: it really fits his age and personality, imo. Now about the episode itself; well, I laughed my ass off pretty much everytime Josuke started losing his shit, and I absolutely cannot wait for what's to come next week (the OP and ED better be god-tier, tho). |

Yes, it won't affect anything yet you will not get the full "experience". That's definitely not the same. a 100 ep long running anime will most likely have clear continuity and the same characters. Each jojo part is mostly self contained with it's own stand alone story that has some recurring elements from other parts. Clear continuity, but the viewer will not know where are the characters, who they are, why are they in that place etc. Story wise you won't lose much or be confused if you jump straight into 4 as the story is pretty simple and straight forward. Yeah, story wise you will not loose anything, but you will lose Joseph in prime, Dio-sama (which is a "rather" necessary knowledge if Part 6 will get animated), who is Enya etc. |

| JoJo Fridays are back, and, just like this episode, it's GREATO. I really love the idea of a slice of life jojo with some murder mystery thrown in, it's basically perfect entertainment for my taste. As usual for jojo the animation, music, and voice acting are all amazing and the story leaves me wanting to watch the next episode immediately so I literally have no complaints. HYPE TRAIN IS UNBREAKABLE WHOO WHOO! |

| This introduction to part 4 and the characters was quite good, but a little too fast paced for my tastes. Hopefully they'll do 52 episodes. I find Shining Crazy Diamond to be the most interesting thing so far. | It's been a while since I've read part 4 so I was really happy to see Morioh and all the characters back again. The first episode was promising and I'm already getting used to the art shift. Glad to see that DP keep using those weird color palette swaps that made the series so unique and fun to watch. The only thing I disliked was the very first scene. I don't think they should have but otherwise I'm pleased. Can't wait to see more of it! |

| Finally.This will fill a hole in my life that has been there since SC finished.Since i did not read the manga and i have nothing to compare the artstyle to, i will say that i love it along with colors. Josuke seems like a nice new MC so far, and i'm guessing his power is time rewinding maybe? which if i'm right, is going to be epic to see in fights in future.I find JoJo fights very creative anyway, but with time rewinding we might see some mindblowns ^^ Either way, ez 10/10 and (oh how i missed saying that) see you next week, JoJo! |

| Amazing first episode, the budget is pretty meh, but honestly I don't expect much from it anymore. As for the pacing, I've heard of the 39 episode theory, and even though it may not happen, I could see them doing it. Remember how the next time said Josuke meets Angelo? That was 5 chapters in the manga, and there was no part 1 in the title, so they're probably planning to animate all 5 chapters in 1 episode, something Stardust Crusaders never did (only went up to 4), so if the episodes went at 4.5 chapters per episode, 39 episodes is very plausible.....then again I doubt it. |

| That Jojo greatness is back. The new art style is very interesting. Jotaro looks so different since Part 3. Josuke & Crazy Diamond. His Stands ability is really cool. I love hearing that music when he is about to hurt someone. Note to self don't talk shit about Josuke's hair or your screwed. Josuke is Joesph's son. Thats interesting. Koichi sounds so much like Meliodas from Nanatsu no Taizai. Both Josuke & Jotaro always have girls surrounding them. Tomoko smashing that guys face into the side of his car. This new Stand user is gonna be trouble. So far great start. Looking forward to more. |

| Man this was a hype first episode. The new artstyle is heaven on the eyes. It's good to see Jotaro again and it's awesome to see he still has his ability to stop Time. Josuke seems like an awesome main character, once again completely different from the previous JoJos and I love how chill he is until you say anything about his hair! (It's funny that he's Joseph's son from an affair. Oh Joseph). His power to destroy and then heal is freaking nuts! I love the mysterious feel this part has with the murder mystery aspect. 5/5 for this episode. Gah its so good to have JoJo on Fridays again. |

| Ah, I am so excited! Even more so after watching the episode! I miss the old art style but think this one is better for the characters and I'm just sooo disappointed that I couldn't see Kakyoin drawn with it. I wonder if Jotaro was reminded of him at all considering all the high schoolers were wearing the same school outfit as Noriaki. Anyway, I really like all the new characters already. Can't wait for Fridays again! |

| old voice actor for Josuke was better and the animation seems lower quality then Stardust might just be a different art style but even if they went for the last part of the manga's art-style its still off that being said everything else seems on point |

| This Josuke kid is weird as fuck, I love it xD But man that scene with the hostage had me like O_O His stand is so strange yet so interesting And I totally get why best Jojo Joseph busted all kinds of nuts in Josuke's mom....She is hot as fuck and that personality kinda makes her even hotter to me lol Was nice seeing Jotaro again and I died at his little "We don't love these hoes" moment LMFAOOOO....Pretty cool to hear about his career and that he's famous himself now...He looks great for his age too and he's still got the skills to kick ass :D Overall it was a pretty great return to the franchise....The new art style is going to take some time to get used to but it's not bad at all....Koichi isn't half bad either |

| YES! YES! YES! WHAT AN AMAZING EPISODE! I just knew DavidPro was going to improve the animation quality for best part. I should never have doubted them. The hype-o-meter is off the charts, baby! Also, while i was expecting hints torwards that guy early on, i didn't expect it to be that early or that obvious. Pretty much a spoiler if you ask me, but i suppose it doesn't mean much without context. Also, we had a nice cameo from a certain radio tower near the beginning there... |

The colors used are more abstract and the palate is brighter since the overall tone is more 'bizarre' than the past one and the tensions are lower. |
