| ppl always bring up old vs new by comparing new bad anime to really good old anime its funny how ppl can cherry pick to make their claims look better but in actuality it looks stupid here watch all the anime from 1995-2000 season by season and tell me about the shit/good ratio...if anything its probably the same. looking at anichart alone and season the seasonal anime of the past it shows much resembles to todays anime. u have ur 1 extremely good anime of that year and a bunch of harem/moe/sol/and a few mecha. nothing changed but everyone has a perception that it has. |
| New anime = Old anime The common misconception is that the new era doesn't have just as many amazing anime as the old era. The only difference is that the plethora of forgettable kids series/OVAs pre-2000s are now replaced with ecchi/harem shows. |
