DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol this was funny nothing serioes happens but im glad we get to see goku and some older characters in the mix. The part with buu and Satan lmfao. The ineraction with goten and trunks were fun. Everything about this was a good start. The second half mainly focused on goten and trunks getting a present. Cant wait to see more. i love how the quality is improved but it still feels like the old db  |

| Hmm, I'm okay with the OP theme song. Lol, Goku in a tractor. I freaking lol'd. Mr Satan also looked silly this episode. They introduced Beerus alredy so the first arc of the new season will probably feature a lot of him. Nice to see Buu again though. I always thought his chemistry with Mr Satan is fun to watch.  Yeah pretty much a refreshing episode. That's also quite a large snake... |

| So in the manga Beerus destroys the planet with a ki blast while in the anime he destroys half of the planet with a finger tap on the table lol. Goten was adorable in the whole ep and I like the OP a lot, Goku foreshadowed with his SSG form and Gohan with mystic. I already like this! Now onto wait for the next ep! |

| Just watched the episode myself and I like how they changed some things from the manga version and stretched it out Goten and Trunks' exploits were pretty fun but the Buu and Mr. Satan stuff made me laugh lol.....Lol @ Beerus destroying half that planet with a tap of his finger xD The manis OP as fuck Also I must say that after watching this episode, I kinda don't mind most of the Japanese voices at all except for Buu....I hate his voice, Goku's voice is still inferior to the dub for me but it's tolerable Looking forward to the next episode that is centered around Vegeta and his famiily |
| It's nice that Dragon Ball is back. I was never a fan of the japanese version of dbz so I think I'll wait until it's dubbed to finish it. Hopefully the pacing will be better. |

| boy that Japanese dub will make you want to kill someone. Looks like they are going for a more family feel for this and I can't hate that. I'm going to wait for the English dub before I watch anymore episodes. |

| Pretty good first episode. Even though it's got the "Battle of Gods" super high stakes feel in the background (which is something of a continuation from the Buu arc in the sense that a planet could be destroyed in an instant), it feels more like the fun-loving times of the original Dragon Ball series. I always preferred Dragon Ball over Dragon Ball Z, so this makes me happy. This will especially be true if they continue to use the full cast of characters, as well as keep that scale (of combat) from Dragon Ball Z present. This was a fun re-introduction episodes, and I can't wait for more! |
| My God! I watched the Buu saga over and over again during my childhood and I'm finnaly watching a new episode! It just became my favorite! Kibito Kai looks the best with the new art style, how can a character look so fabulous!? But Videl looked better with the old art style, she took too much sun and looks plain now... I wonder if this will be a slice of life anime... I mean, we DO know that they will all be fine in 10 years so... |

| It was okay, basically same content from the manga chapter that came out. The openng and ending were cool, liked the ending better though. Hope it doens't feel to redundant as the series progresses, considering the movies are going to be adapted into the series. |

| Well I got to say that at first I was sceptical that the first two arcs will be based on the movies. But I LOVED THE FIRST EPISODE. I am so happy it is back. I watched the RAW version and I will watch the sub version later again. |
| Average episode. Snake is stronger than Saiyan, lol 3/5 Beerus destroy planet so easily so this episode is proof that Goku > superman. |

| I really liked it. I made a short review (as spoiler free as i could) and it think it was really great. Could say i'm in the fanboy camp so perhaps my opinion does not matter, but what i really liked about this episode was how "Dragon Ball" it felt, not Z. I have nothing against Z but it was nice to just get a "normal" episode and just see how a couple of the characters is doing. I can't wait for episode 2! |

| Already better than the whole season of GT in the first episode and totally lived up to my expectations. It just felt like classic Dragonball... very light-hearted fun for a first episode. Seems to be following the events leading up to BoG as expected... but Beerus is awake already which is abit different. Also MAL needs to update this show from 'other' and into 'sequel' tag of Dragonball Z. They need to put GT into 'other' imo and not 'sequel' too. |

| Just remembered why ithis is the only anime i prefer the eng dub, Gokus voice is fucking horrendous. How come everyone else have a reasonably good voice and goku (+ gohan and goten) gets the shittiest one, Can understand him sort of having that voice as a kid but as an adult its just hilariously bad. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| Finally, Mr. Satan has redeemed himself in my eyes! I remember as a kid he was one of my most hated characters, because he took all the credit for saving the world lol. It feels like Toriyama is wrapping it up with the old characters and making room for new ones to come in the 3 new arcs. I do hope he makes a throwback every now and then - it feels so nostalgic to see Videl, Roshi, Piccolo, etc. |

| You may say that they're milking the franchise, and you wouldn't be wrong. But I still enjoyed this episode. Gotta love DB atmosphere. |
