| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice, the match is under way already. They're not wasting much time so far and I like that. I see the fans getting hyped up in the stadium as well :D Mei immediately shows his skill as the pitcher but Seido is even more impressive. Damn, those eyes just tell a story. I like the direction of this match so far so I hope it will be as good as I anticipate. I am really surprised at how well Seido is doing so far against defending champions! |

| Hmm... not too big of a fan of Seido's pitchers start-up. All the third-years interested in Wakana a little and teasing Sawamura about t ^^ The coach's dream to bring his team to the national! The game finally starting!!! Those cheers!!! Managing to get a run off Mei right off the bat! Those steal and Jun managing to hit it!!! A pretty intense play. Having to be risky to turn the advantage towards Seido. Throwing the pitch right down the middle for Yuki! Mei declaring his standing as the ace of Inashiro! Mei's change in aura :O and Inashiro seems strong since they also have the speed. |

| Awesome episode. Honestly I've waited for so long for a good episode, the last half of this episode was really entertaining. The pacing was great, it was tense and exciting. Really hoping Tetsu slams in a home run but judging by the music and the pitchers expression at the end, it ain't happening lol. |

| Kuramochi and his aggressive steal :D Good at provoking Mei. And Seidou gets the first point in the game, right in the beginning too! But uh-oh, Mei's got his serious face on. It's kind of mixed with confidence that's nearing arrogance (at least in the episode preview). Ryousuke couldn't make it to first base, probably partially because of his leg. But it's okay, he allowed for Kuramochi to get onto third base. You can already feel the tension and it's only the beginning of the game. |

| As much as Seido pulled him off his pace right off the bat, Mei is looking for carnage :) Yuki next, then the beginning of the pitchers' relay. IIRC in the last episodes was mentioned that Inashiro have nasty batters - sparkle, Furuya! |
| This match is way more exciting so far than the others in previous episodes. I hope they thrash Inashiro into the ground. One thing I really don't understand though, and haven't for ages - if it's so hot that you can get heatstrokes just watching the game, why are so many of the players wearing long sleeves? Especially Furuya, who struggles with the heat? At first I thought it was just the required uniform, but so many players straight up don't wear the long sleeves at all. Surely you'd make Furuya at the very least take it off...? It looks really tight and the colour's sorta dark, it must be sweaty as hell. |

| Damn! That was a great episode, with the highlights being Kuramochi's steal and Jun's RBI. It's not a thriller anime but this episode had me at the edge of my seat. And to ask the most important question, “Has Mei lost it?" I wonder. Next episode is gonna be a blast judging by the looks on the face of Inashiro's batters. |

| Nobody has scored any runs off Inashiro? I feel more disappointed in the previous teams than I am impressed by his pitching. A strong start to the biggest game of the series so far. I have a feeling this is going to be a long match. |
