This short format doesn't work for these types of stories. More development is needed. This seems like a bite off of The Metamorphosis; an old tale I read ages ago in elementary school. Since it's a required read in American schools, I'm assuming most of us have heard of it. It's a pretty amazing story. |

| This reminded me of the first episode of Shiki. If it weren't for vampires, a plot like this could work in that episode of that anime. |

| my guess; guy managed to kill himself with too much incense and smoke, the insects he saw on his body was either because he was rotting away while still alive or because he had died already and was just a 'ghost' still writing in his journal, then he eventually died ;3 |
