| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- LOL, that flying fish reference was priceless. Good episode and match. I like the OST used in this episode even more than the previous. Both sides employ usage of their strategies and I feel like the momentum of the match is strong as ever. Some of the serves (faints?) were pretty skillfully done imo. I smell some feelings of fear this episode though from that back story. Good to know teammates have each others back ofc. |

| lol @ him trying out the smile. Anyways, it's nice that he's trying to get involve with the team, and wow @ his serve. Miyu-Miyu's character's comment is... With megane guy and ex-prince guy are trying to communicate, megane guy is a bit shocked. A bit of story of NamiDai's character, and when ex-prince guy comes in, by Yoshino-san's character. He's frustrated by always exchanged by him, and he was like him in the past and that ex-prince guy was very pure then. His creepy personality was because of the coach then and him. Ending soon? And back to 17:00 next week. |

| At least he tried... Good episode. The flashback caught me by surprise, but I still enjoyed it for the most part. Kageyama's compliments are almost cringe worthy. Keep on trying, though ;) |
| Haikyuu never ceases to amaze me, every episode is just so enjoyable! Seeing Kageyama trying to change and become a better teammate overall was really great to see. Kageyama trying to smile and give compliments was way too funny. xD Tsukishima and Kageyama are actually communicating slightly better now which I'm so glad to see. Tsukishima's feints are awesome. The flashback with Oikawa was really interesting, especially since Oikawa wasn't actually that great to begin with and was pretty much like Kageyama. Kageyama was insanely innocent and completely different to the way he is now though. xD Gosh, I absolutely love the characters in this anime. Karasuno made it to the 3rd and final set. This is going to be so good, can't wait! 3 more episodes though. ;~; As always, I freakin' love the OST. I need it once it's released. : ) Karasuno, fight! 5/5 |

| To me, Iwa-chan nailed the narration of the flashback! I'm again so glad Namikawa Daisuke voices Oikawa because now young Oikawa sounds sooooo adorable! I like seeing how Kageyama and Tsuki building up their teamwork! :) (And now that I think about it, the three girls talk a lot less than in the manga. I wonder if we are missing some informations...) (and wow at Haikyuu rating on MAL, I can't wait for it to surpass ahem KnB but anyway, it's MAL...) |

| Karasuno won the second set! Looks like sitting out helped Kageyama regain his composure. He's doing a good job communicating with his teammates. There's only one set left in the match, and both teams are playing great, so anything can happen. I really want Karasuno to win. |

| That #1 smile! Tanaka looked weird when asking for a high five! Kageyama imitating Tanaka... xD kinda random. Having to look at expressions and getting pissed of at Tsukishima's expression! Though getting pissed off was a mutual thing, both of them are changing. Managing to toss to Tsukishima multiple times which lead to multiple feints! Which opened up to the perfect spike and a rare compliment :P Oikawa having issues with genius gifted people. The trauma of being unable to beat them. Almost hitting a first-year Kageyama! Kageyama seems different back then too! "The team with the better six is stronger!" Oikawa being the one to serve against the match point and the one-point lead. Managing to win the set and becoming that much stronger by using Tsukishima also! There sure were a lot of exclamation marks though xD Just reflects on how good this episode was! |

| This episode was awesome. Nice save from Kurasuno's libero~ It was a a good backstory and insight on Oshioka. Hopefully Tobio can destroy him next game just like this one. 5/5. lol and the Flying Fish reference was priceless. |

| Love it. Nice episode. Oh Tobio, pls. This is why Tobio is my favorite character, he is just too adorable and he is always looking for ways to improve despite being talented. I agree with everyone in this thread about every single detail of this episode. The characterization is great, the animation is awesome and the OSTs are memorable and lovely. I just love this anime so much. my god! |

| Some of the humor was awkwardly executed which messed with the pacing of this episode, but it was all worth it for Oikawa + Iwaizumi middle school antics and Kageyama + Tsukushima development. So good. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| This episode was definitely one of the most funniest episodes in the entire season thus far. I laughed so many times, one right after the other. The backstory on the other setter was great and I really enjoyed the "King's" attempt to high five the first time....or compliment.....sooo funny xD This episode was the best. =) |
