| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, not bad. Those were some decent hits out the field. The match had spirit though imo with fans and hell, even cheerleaders. I thought the latest episode got the pacing going pretty well. OST worked somewhat okay I guess. Loved those sliding plays though. |

| Bummer I thought Sawamura was going to pitch this ep. Lol @ the other team's coach treating it like a war. Sawamura seems like he might have become better though, I wonder what Chris taught him. Can't wait to see him pitch in the next episode! |

| Wow pretty awesome episode. The soundtrack songs for the songs while the match is going on fits well. Im still way too used to the Yamato themes and others from Oofuri, but the ones here especially that Aim and Swing one are perfect. I hope we get even more variety for the episodes. Definitely awesomely intense and wonderful Furuya shocking all. |

| Amazing. I'm not even a huge fan of baseball, but this is slowly rising on my favorites list, a bit more and it would be top 5. On the episode, it was quite funny how the opposition coach started off an "Art of War" and ended it with just two chapters. Well, next episode is Sawamura's pitching. |

| Eijun, go surprise everyone next episode! :D Lol when he said that he's only in that good of a condition every 4 years, and Haruichi was just like, as frequent as the Olympics? Would be pretty useless. But at least the coach took his appeal time seriously and is letting him pitch! Loved everyone's reaction, especially Furuya who was pretty happy with his performance so far. |
| Love this anime! nice episode :) I find Furuya to be so adorable, and funny. That was quite a surprise there at the end. I'm beyond happy that Eijun will get to pitch!!!! so excited! |

| Very tight episode. Great pacing and timing with stills. Everybody got to show-off some appeal, and damn, that BAND. 10/10 just for the Band playing a bunch of sexy quips. - Madhouse really put effort into this, and it shows. You really get the feeling that the anime/story/team is aiming for the long-haul. |

| ^ Same here. He is indeed loud but surprisingly, it is very adorable. I am so happy the coach finally decided to let him play. I wonder what funny things will he do this time. Haha, it was so cute how Furuya throws very well but can't catch the ball. And the senpais are really awesome. Hit hard!!! Now, I want to see the younger pink haired brother to bat too. He is really good too. |

| Furuya fucking rules, but he's gonna be in trouble if he can't get at least half of those fastballs lower. The riser won't be effective if they all start in the strikezone and end up high, Miyuki knows that. |

I don't know how long it'll go, but it can easily go above 50 episodes if we only consider the chapters translated (which means that AoD can go at least 100+ if they wanted to). |

| I'm the only one who didn't feel this episode. Couldn't have any reaction with the play, it felt like it was normal. Only the scenes with Sawamura made me giggle. Next episode will definitely be better in my case. |

The coach knows that he may need him at some of the later matches, so why not give him the experience of a match now that they seem to have the game under control so he can be more prepared later on? |

I don't remember if I can link something from youtube, but if you copy/past "高校野球 応援歌 1-9メドレー" you'll find a medley of baseball theme used by high school teams, if you have some interest for it, of course! |

| Great start of the tournament with Furuya's amazing no hit no run streak. I didn't expect Eijun to play so soon after repeatedly told he won't play in this match, coach must be tired of his constant nagging lol. |

| My only criticism of this anime is that they seem to appreciate anything Satoru does, but when MC accomplishes something impressive, they constantly complain about something else in the moment instead. I’ve been noticing this happening for a while now. So far, I'm enjoying it, but it can be frustrating at times. I'm sorry, but I guess I've grown protective of Eijun. |
