Thus implying he has swam in half his armor before, thus he had 'experience' in the matter. That and Caska's hormonal bleeding emitted pheromones that gave Guts testosterone power that gave him super strength to protect her. Or something. |

Guts is repaying the favor, though I don't know why he wouldn't wrap her in his cape first or something. And they always had some chemistry. It comes at no surprise. Casca will probably get pretty angry in the morning. |

| Another great episode yet again. This series has been nothing but great so far. Griffith keeps becoming more and more sinister with each passing episode, it is becoming very interesting. Griffith may have been the star of the other episodes, but this time I will have to give it to Guts. The last scene really says it all. | I was wondering why Guts left that dude alive. So he can shoot him a few minutes later, makes sense now, the plot is strong. |
| I already hated Adon and now I hate him 10x more. Hope he is dead. Hopefully Casca warms up towards Guts instead of returning to become that unlikeable Casca everyone hates. It seriously was hard to be a woman in Medieval warring states. Those Military commanders from the main army are such dicks. |

| Good episode. Griffith receives a "lodestone" from the princess. That Coborlowitz dude had such a roundabout way to basically say that Casca's a slut. Lol, what a medieval roast. Anyways, he got beat up, but I guess they didn't finish him off either after he shot Casca and Guts off of the cliff. I knew Casca was having her period the moment she grabbed her stomach for the first time, but the "reveal" in the cave was a bit unclear, because I couldn't really tell what part of her body they were showing at first. Took me a few times to realize it was the "period" reveal, instead of some scar/battlewound as I thought at first. Also the fact that Guts had to warm her body this time was just perfect. It confirms he doesn't really mind touching anymore and I'm still wondering how that came about. Maybe in the manga it gets explained? Seijatachiiii said: Was that meant to be her period? | The battle was okay, I expected more from it. But the aftermath was amazing! Guts protecting Casca, he warmed her. That's going to be the next step of their relationship. |

| A few thoughts: 1) I think Griffith already considers Guts a friend, but he doesn't realize it. Casca noticed from the very beginning that Guts changed something in Griffith. A mere follower cannot change the one they follow. Also, to be noted that Guts does not believe in Griffith vision like the rest. He is rather interested in Griffith as a person. I believe Griffith feels this, but again, he doesn't realize it. 2) Women have fighting abilities. It is not because they are as good warriors as the men, but because they need to protect the children when danger arises and men are not around, as it happens with many other living creatures. Although, in most cases, women and children are in safer places, one can never know when dire situations occur. However, this doesn't mean a woman can fight on a regular basis. Her fighting skills are an auxiliary function meant for crisis. Her body is different from the man's, and she has not the same physical strength. When a woman fights, she inevitably fights differently from men. Her body has a different rhythm, functions, and routine. Therefore, if a woman wants to live a man's life, like in this episode, occasionally her body manifests in a disruptive way. It is these moments that mean to remind her she has a different mission, she is made to do other things. |
