About Anime and Myself
I discovered anime when I was 6, and it is my only interest that has lasted for such a long time. Usually, I get bored with something in 3-4 years, but anime was an exception: as I grew up with it, my passion only became stronger. I currently see manga and anime as an integrant part of myself.
My profile name comes from my own manga character. "Konoko" is the alias of the MC from the game Oni (that I never played, but I loved the name 😋), and "Asada" is a mangaka's surname that I picked randomly from a borrowed manga's front cover.
My profile image represents my first sketch of Konoko Asada which a MAL friend (unfortunately, no longer on MAL) encouraged me to draw. It's actually part of a larger drawing that I've been working on since 2021 (Yeah! That's how inconsistent I am. 😋) Hopefully, things will change this year.
The top image is an extract from another project. For years, I've kept a sticker with that image of Naruto as my lucky charm in times of adversity. The drawing is my attempt to create a personalized design for a T-shirt. I put the in-progress image here as a reminder to continue. I hope to gradually bring updates.😉

- Naruto anime: my favorite anime of all time (along with Shippuden).
- Naruto Shippuden Konoha Gakuen: another Naruto animation.
- Lodoss to Senki: one of the anime I love since my youth.

What Happened in 2025?
2025 marked what I believe to be a turning point in my life. This time around, I have not drowned in anime to soothe my sorrow, but some anime I watched happened to bear messages of encouragement and comfort.
1) One Piece, the Enies Lobby Arc: This is the first One Piece arc that shook me, deepening my faith in human bonds and people's ability to surpass themselves.
2) Anime that expressed compassion, coping with loss, resilience, patience, modesty, and spiritual growth:
- Violet Evergarden
- Mushishi
- Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou
- Madogiwa no Totto-chan
3) My favorite 2025 anime character: Kadota from Durarara!! He is what I consider a healthy human being in spirit. His mere presence seems to keep a world on the brink of collapse in balance.
4) The most disappointing anime: Durarara!!x2 Ten. Durarara!!x2 Shou wasn't great either, but Ten was worse (too much chaos and divergence). However, I want to see the anime to the end. Maybe I'll be surprised.

I mean... I understand that he cares her without showing, and also can show...ANGER if someone goes in their way, but surprised? That was a first.
Still dont started, its in plans, someday. Checked some random parts and scenes of the original characters in this one, still not going to share spoilers ^^

Anyway, been a while Konoko, how have you been?!
I found out about the Final Act here at MAL! That's one of my favorite things here: you can find out if there are any sequels/specials/ovas that you never heard about it!
(sure, sometimes a random person shows up and send a random FR asking if you like Inuyasha, still)
There is this scene in Final Act where Rin asks Sesshoumaru if he will miss her after she dies that really got me. I guess it got HIM as well, he even shows emotion! xD
