| Great episode. Easily one of the best so far. I didn't expect King's past to be so tragic. To think that he knew Diane so many years ago and still loves her. It's sad that she no longer remembers her past with him. Young Diane was extremely cute :) Also Diane x King confirmed for best ship in the series. |

| Love the hinting of the memory loss with the flower without the anime needing to spell it out for us. Really neat backstory between King/Harlequin and Diane. Glad that his feelings for Diane stem from something deeper than just random attraction. ^^ |

| I thought the episode was pretty good. I do feel bad for Helbram, and king and diane's past was touching. I'm glad Meliodas finally showed up, but i'm still waiting to see Merlin in action! |

I'm already above the hypetrain waiting for the next episode's display of Meliodas being bad ass, Arthur Pendragon was a nice add to the rooster, but it makes me wonder if he's at all necessary. Hopefully he gets explained later on. |

| Intro changed a bit; now showing the Seven Deadly Sins unarmored. Awesome backstory of King, Diane, and Helbram. <3 I wonder how Helbram survived the first time King seemingly killed him. And it's pretty cool how Meliodas bailed King out of jail. With Hendrickson cornering Arthur, Meliodas had to appear with his Full Counter to reflect Hendrickson's Hellblaze Wave. Can't wait to see them fight it out. Wonder what Arthur's secret technique is though. |

Okay then~ I love both Nanatsu no Taizai and Akame but Akame's "antagonists" aren't all pure one dimensional evil, you have the Jaegers who actually have their own moral code and value to fight against Night Raid, both have the same objective just through different mediums of achieving them, thus I wouldn't say its shit writing, in fact its decent writing. With a rival group on the contrary to Night Raid, it actually supports the plot as a stem and depicts a moral aspect to the show. Also, the animation studio has nothing to do with the script, the plot and the characters... |

Also from what we've seen thus far in the show the Holy Knights seem to be pretty efficient at causing collateral damage to the human population. Based on a couple of comments from people who are current in the manga, it looks like the next few episodes will spell it out for us. This episode certainly generated the most feels to date in the series. We saw the love blossoming between King and Diane over that 500 year interlude as well as some touching scenes (the couple with the child that King pointed out to explain things to Diane being among the dead bodies in the village--still holding on to each other and the child). I'm not sure which is the sadder story, Ban/Elaine or King/Diane. Here's hoping that we get more than a bitter-sweet ending. |

| Really moving the narrative, some tears on the battlefield I poured myself. A nice slice of the past and of King not only is shown, not bad overall, at the end as often happens in many plots, the real villain is not the real villain, but summing up are all victims of changing events. Drawings and animations as good quality, but the most credit goes to the soundtrack this time. |

| Nanatsu no Taizai, too fucking good! For some reason though, after the flashback, I wasn't really feeling the rest of the episode. More specifically the King vs Helbram fight, it was weird how easily King owns Helbram, when he had more difficulty facing him before the flashback. |
