With ''we want the snk crowd'' i did not imply that it has the same type of music.they are trying to pander to the same crownd: teenagers with a low attention span. I schould not have expected any less from MAL i guess.They like complete trash like NGNL after all. I have a short attention span and I prefer classical music. What now? There is no concrete evidence that suggests that there is any correlation between types of music that people prefer and one's attention span. It all comes down to one's preferences and I suggest that you not blatantly insult people for liking something you don't. |

| I don't really remember much from the manga. Long time ago since I read it. But I absolutely loved this. Great updated chara designs, great dubstep OST, Hirano Aya is awesome as Migi. (Makes Migi somewhat cute) Really excited of this adaptation. Also great OP. Sent with Mal Updater |
| Definitely picking this up, seems worthwhile. That dog "talking" was creepy as hell, and the creepy/disgusting moments were plentiful - just like a horror anime should be. 5/5 for a first episode. |

| I thought this is going to be another clichee uninteresting anime like tokyo ghoul was but i liked the start very well. the characters seem likeable ( they dont act too childish or illogical or in any kind irritating to me) and thats, i guess the most inportant thing for me, to endure it. From the story i cant tell if its going to be typical or not but overall i would say its a "tokyo ghoul" done right. (even though i have only seen the first 2 episodes of tokyo ghoul^^) |

| Great first episode. The only bad thing is my indecisiveness of not picking this up sooner. I like the instrumentals of the opening but that vocaloid... not really feeling it. The rest of the OST is pretty good. Using dubstep isn't bad but... different. If Jojo part 2 can pull it off why not this? |

| That was a heck of a lot better than I was expecting, mostly because I figured I'd be disgusted. I guess watching Grimm desensitizes you to this sort of body horror (somewhat). It was a solid first episode. The parasite actually seems to have more personality than Shinichi, which I find endlessly amusing and ironic. The boob grab was pretty lame: It was semi-understandable, downplayed, and had an appropriate reaction, yet it was still unneeded. The rest was interesting, be it the parasite stopping the car, studying, or fighting the dog parasite. As a non-manga reader, I actually like the modern setting, which allows for things like Shinichi looking up info on the internet to no avail. (I saw some comments that the manga was based in the 80s/90s.) Creepy, but I think I'll keep watching. It has potential. | Now that's how a "saviour of anime" should be like. Madhouse doesn't disappoint yet again. I just hope the show continues to be this good and I won't have to eat my words later. That boob grab came out of nowhere and did seem unnecessary. The only reason I can think of why Migi did that was because he(it?) wanted to study human female morphology, because we later see it look up human anatomy on Shinichi's phone while he was dozing off in the class. Or maybe I'm giving the show too much credit and it was just an excuse for fanservice. |
| Surprised I picked this up so late. I actually like the OP, haven't heard something like this in a while for an anime. So it was pretty refreshing to hear. I'm enjoying the premise of the story and from what I've heard/seen on the forums it's a pretty faithful adaptation of the manga so far. I'm really liking what I see right now. |

| As a reader of the manga, I'm disappointed & dropping it 1 episode in. It's the same story, except stupid changes were made to accommodate modern audiences. Main Character (& the rest of the cast) looks about as generic as they come in Seinen. Tall, slender, school blazer & plain as a bottle of milk; it's almost like he came right out of Death Note. On top of that, he barely expresses emotion aside from looking scared all the time when Migi goes in him. In the original manga, on top of looking more masculine, gritty & distinguishable, he was energetic, he laughed, he got pissed etc; just seemed like a far more interesting character, I'm not a fan of the voice of Migi. Some might like it, but it sounds miles off how I interpreted his voice in the manga. Guess that was always a hard task though. Lastly, who in blue fuck was the girl wearing glasses? She wasn't in the manga. Did they figure one female in the first episode wasn't enough, so they added a completely meaningless one? |
