| Just as it should be, this episode was an improvement over the first. The jury is still out on the characters and the show is having a bad habit of repeating stuff we already should know. For example: Clare is half-human and half-yoma? Really? |

| Nice episode, we get to know more about claymore stuff; like them having a chance of becoming a yoma herself. Well seeing Clare kill some of his friend was saddening though. Rating it 8/10. |

| raki might actually be more stronger than we think. Koreth said: Raki seems impressionable, imo he could change a lot as he learns things. Don't forget, he's extremely scared right now and he's just lost everyone in his life. He also understands very little of the goings-on in the world, he's from a small village (the elder hadn't ever seen a Claymore before) that seems very introvert. Raki on the other hand didn't really fit in there, and I think that after learning the way the world works, he could change a lot... though he'll still be the "character with a heart." Anyone else think Raki might be... Lucky ?? really good explanation of him. he's just a little kid, a small villager's mind is very different than other ppl's. so lets give him a chance. i'm sure he'll realize that he needs to learn to fight so he wont always be a weakness for claire. |

Each sword of the Claymore contains a black card so perhaps the Yoma elements have reached a point where the hand can be stayed. Anytime before that and the Claymore may believe they are still in control. And remember, a Yoma can imitate a human quite well, even one it has killed before, and I would hazard a guess that only another Claymore can destroy that Yoma - the one who it resides in may just be leaving their human shell for it to use. Although that does raise the question of what happens when a Claymore dies in a more ordinary circumstance? Is it's body just a host for the Yoma half to live on in? Really enjoyed the first two episodes. The art and music especially put it on a strong footing, and if the story and characters can ever come close to matching those other elements then I am very excited for what's to come. |

| I understand that Raki is meant to act as a guide for the viewer- asking questions so we can get the information we need, but a lot of it just makes sense without an explanation. What I'm saying is, I wish Raki were a bit less naive. Nevertheless, I'm really liking it so far. |

| Given Clare's low affect I was kind of expecting Claymores to mostly lack or be discouraged from showing individuality, but it turns out they're actually given an individual icon by their organization. I assumed too much. In fact even in episode 1 this seems more like a story of a woman living the hard life of a warrior-nun than another story about an emotionless girl who's not really emotionless. Claymores seem to be feared by the general populace, but I'm curious as to how their organization itself treats them. As tools? As soldiers with a job to do? As honored martyrs sacrificing themselves to protect humanity? What are the ideals of this organization? At this point it could be anything from fighting for humanity to just making money selling a service. |

| Hell of throw Clare threw at the flying Yoma. Wonder what the "other one" is, a different wound she may have gotten during a Yoma fight. That's a good system honestly, being able to die as a human by the one you send the black card to. FFS Raki, at least let Elena die in peace. | I still can't believe that in a series full of female blonde, badass, sword-wielding warriors, they casted Ayako Kawasumi (whose more famous role is Saber, a prime example of "female blonde, badass, sword-wielding warrior") to voice a fodder character. Oh, the irony. |
