| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pros: + Awesome color scheme + Weird character design + Soundtrack rocks, so far + Giant sword-slinging action Cons: - Tsundere Claymores... - Weird character design - Almost fatally predictable - Comic relief kid sucks Well, we'll see how it goes. I don't like the kid at all, I hope he dies next episode. His reaction to Clare was bizarre - He's not freaked out at all when she nearly cuts him in half with a broadsword, but he starts cowering in fear from her when she saves his life from some demon thing. |

| was fairly predictable and i didn't like the animation style a lot, but i still rather liked it. hopefully it gets better as the show goes on. |

| Kinda liked it, Clare was really cool killing those yoma with her sword. The graphics was great. I'll rate the anime art 8/10 though. |
| Liked the art style. The atmosphere however was ruined by the breakneck pacing. So much was crammed into this one episode that its impossible to take any of it seriously much less care about it. I hope they correct this problem in later episodes. |

He might have been done with his remorse, since he had remorse for his family, and he was like 'i already cried for all of them' (probably not). Or it could be like they don't feel like it, since he was a monster. Or that the scene doesn't suit the anime |

| Finally got the chance to start Claymore. Wow, an incredible start. Plenty of action, loved the plot, characters are nice too. |

| Not bad for a pilot episode. I've heard some good things about this anime, so I'll continue on watching it. Soundtrack rocks, the fight scenes were ok, the silver-eyed witches shit sounds nice. Also: Tsundere Claymores |

| Are you really taking it literally? What i mean is that you can't judge something by it's surface alone; and after the first episode you have only scratched Claymore world's surface; it is much more than that. Like i said somewhere today, i rather regret for completing an anime than regret for dropping it, but i know that most of people drop them right on the first episode if they don't feel hooked. That's ok, i don't blame it..i was just expressing my opinion as some1 that loved Claymore. |

| I can only really echo what has been said before. I agree that the plot of the first episode was rather unsurprising but I feel that the art, soundtrack and Clare's character more than make up for it. I believe Raki will provide an empathic outlet in a story where the main protagonist appears to be an emotional shut-in, at least externally. |

| Interesting first episode. Dark, nice art and very good soundtrack. I am pretty sure that every Claymore has an eventful past to discover but my concern is that Yoma seem an easy target for Claymores, so how they are gonna keep things interesting? p.s stupid cowards the villagers. stupidity can become one of cruelest things in the world. |
| Claymores are pretty ruthless. Liking the series so far, not a huge fan of the art style but meh. |
