Another awesome episode. I hope you all are happy, now that Raki hit that other guy in the face when he was talking crap.

Anyway, so they get extra strength when they wield their own swords. And if that's not enough they can surpass that half-human half-yoma power level and use some of the yoma's power which also means they get closer to transforming into one. I didn't expect that Raki was going to be the one who's able to sorta stop that process, guess how he did it will be explained a bit later on in the story. But Raki did his part in this episode.

How he cought that sword in the end seemed a bit odd to me though. I didn't see a scabbard so that must've hurt ^^.

I'm glad Raki is becoming more useful and cool, even if he is still a bit of a crybaby. The sword thing is interesting too - the last episode makes more sense now, since she isn't at her best without her sword even after the pills wear off.

Awesome show still, and I like the way it's progressing.

yes, that and he saving clare. I hope that's enought for the people that were critizing him after the first 2 episodes >.> ....

hm, what I understood was that they don't get any extra strengh Cyrus, Clare only intended the the youma to think so, but she was actually pushing herself to the limit like Raki said. It was meant as a strategy to end the battle in one stroke since she was growing weaker. that's why I understood at least.

yes I also hope that gets explained in the story, I actually thought she was going to lose her powers or something lol...

Ok that just failed... he was holding the sword by the blade like that? it's a blade not a blunt weapon! This wasn't the only glitch I noticed. The big guy was impaled through the chest and then 2 minutes later he was moving like nothing had happened? he was even going to execute Clare on that condition... >.> ... the action need to be more frenetic IMO, there was way too many talking between attacks there. Well then again... maybe I'm just being a perfectionist.

Anyway, I'm looking foward to the next ep. A new claymore appears after all. But I really hope we won't see anymore of those blatant glitches.

edit: and me wants to see how far will Raki go ^.^

Errr...I'm pretty sure that was a grey scabbard...
When the knight is holding up the sword, telling Raki to take it, it looks like it has a blunt edge.

It was a good episode nonetheless.

hm, yeah I went to see it again. I does appear to be blunt. Further episodes will bring up the confirmation on that I guess.

This was explained in the second episode if you remember. Besides, if you've watched close enough you notice that when she heals herself or uses the Yoma power she busts out all these veins and muscles. Thats supposed to be a way for the creators of the show to tell you that she's using the Yoma power. Also, like I said, in episode 2 when she kills her old friend, it's explained that over time the Claymore become more and more Yoma due to them using their Yoma powers.

Great episode in my opinon though. I'm very curious as to what that huge explosion was when she thought she was going to lose herself to the Yoma in her and Raki came and gave her all that emotional support.

I'm predicting that by the end of the series he'll be the first/only male to be able to stand up to the Yoma in a fight!

Great episode. Clare is just awesome. Definitely looking forward to the next episode, especially since we get to see Teresa. I generally dont like backstory's but Claymore is one that i really enjoyed, even if it took up like 2 volumes to tell.

Okay, finally Raki actually did something. At least now he isn't completely worthless. Granted, he's still annoying. At least he has a sword now too. He can go around crying and swinging randomly at the same time. I think I find him so annoying because of his seiyuu. It's just too high pitched for a guy imo.

I don´t mind Raki really, I seen worse then him, ofcourse he acts to be dumb kinda, but hey he will get probably alot cooler when he will have like 3 of those womans around him or so if they will acompany him and Clare as we basically saw in the intro song part.

Anyway atleast Raki isn´t totally useless he saved Clare from transforming and to be killed, so in the end thanks to him we can enjoy Clare her awesomeness alot longer ;3

I absolutely agree. For an episode that should have been really action-packed, there was a hell of a lot of talking. Even the freakin' Yoma was chatty! And those two definitely should have died.

But, still, I enjoyed it. I don't know how I feel about Clare being saved by the power of Raki's love (yawn), but I'll go with it for now. :)

Well you say love, but I think this is a differend love then most usual animes have, he just want too have some family that gives about him, to be with him, and considering the way it goes he won't stay a sissy too long and be alot cooler too see.

I can't see him staying a sissy till the end no way, if they would do that it would blow the whole anime to badness, and I doubt that mostly.

No, I wouldn't think they would do that. It seems like one of the themes of the series is Raki coming into his own "power." Though he could be whiny and powerful...

I Don't know. I just started watching this serie cause it scored pretty high. But never before have I been bothered by so many small things that were wrong lol. I can't remember most of it, but weird things like. She was stabbed, and the second after, her body was totally reversed, like she was stabbed while looking the other way. Or at the end, the dude throws a sword at the kid (Without shaft or anything) and the kid just grabs it TIGHTLY with both hands (the sword not handle) and swings the sword around for waving. WITHOUT, bleeding, or feeling any pain as if the sword was made out of plastic T_T

And like millions of those small things that are weird and kinda out of place I noticed.

Overall the episode was cool I guess, I'm gonna continue watching this serie. I think im comparing it to much to the good pro anime's, but this is looking good so far.

i did kinda hate Raki until the end of this episode. I know some people found his bawwwing annoying, but the whole his-love-saving-Clare thing, I actually really liked that idea. It adds some emotion to the storyline and builds up what is now guaranteed to be a well thought-out series in terms of emotion and so forth. I, for one, loved this episode.

I'm liking this anime more and more as I watch it. The character development seems good and I also like that it's based around Medieval times.

Raki was better in this episode to me and he will almost certainly have a larger part in the Claymore society after how he saved Clare in the end. Definitely watching the next episode soon.

How can the big guy get impaled by a Youma and 2 minutes later be walking and carrying a sword like nothing?
