I haven't been watching much anime recently because I got fifa 14 like 2 weeks ago lol so I've just been playing that mainly, but i'm probably gonna get back into Ippo and a few airing shows in the next week or so.
Just had a look and noticed you haven't got Hajime no Ippo on your ptw list! You should definitely try it out, i've watched 20 episodes of it so far and it's great! I'm sure you'd like it too.
Yea, it doesnt matter which you start with. And it does help to read the manga and play the games, which i did. I remember trying to watch sign and i ended up giving up on it. But legend of the twilight and quantum were pretty good. Liminality was another OVA of the series that was pretty decent.

Yea, i guess that makes sense. The manga wont end until about 3 years for SNK, so i dont know how i will cope with not knowing about SNK for years. I probably would be tempted to read/watch it before then lol.

I like watching/reading completed anime/manga too, i like a story with a end already, but sometimes i enjoy feeling excited of what will happen next and getting giddy over the next chapter/episode. It keeps me entertained, for example Naruto and Bleach are ones i keep up with.
Yeah that's a good idea. I didn't think i'd manage to put it on hold for so long but I think it's been around 25 weeks now :O So yeah... I've got quite a lot of eps to enjoy (inb4 fillers and shit).

I stopped watching it a few episodes into the Punk Hazard arc. I've watched the Z film already, wasn't too bad but definitely not as good as Strong World imo.

As for the song for SNK, you should know that that anime has one of the best soundtracks out there in 2013, and its one of the best animated anime this year. Your missing out, you should check it out!
