| Some of the Vers mech designs really are lovely. A few hits and misses this ep, but it seems like the show will pan out well if the next episode can deliver. | Geez, as a person who gets way too attached to older sister characters for no good reason, this episode had me on edge. I'm pretty impressed that Lt. Marito managed to survive, too. |

Anyway refreshing your memory:    - Episode 2 -  What gave away their identity on episode 1 were the eyes, they look a bit different from general eyes, also their eyebrows, there's something different to them too. |

| Nothing surprising & interesting so far, it's so-so...I even predict these two thing : 1 The princess is alive.2 The one who murder the fake princess is the martians. And I think that's not a good omen. I always think that a good character is a believable character. This MC (Inaho), personally i think he's fucking annoying, it's not like i dislike a cool, calm & composed character, but somehow i feel this guy's expression is odd & unnatural. Even if there's a reason behind it like his harsh past experience(which i think is unlikely). For example, the way he react to his sister & when his friend died(?) in front of his eyes in this episode...it's just....odd. If the creator think that the viewer would think that Inaho is cool then he/she underestimates the viewer. |

Not to mention this shit is so predictable.. just about everyone already knew the princess was alive and the attackers were from Mars (except one dude who challenged my argument on the first episode lol) It's also difficult to take those "evil" counts seriously when they dress so flamboyantly and act like faggots. What a waste of budget this anime is. |

| Ouch. That guy at the end... Inoha gives no fuck at all. It's kinda scary. But it sure will help him in the future :P Well, as I thought, the other girl was a decoy and the assassination was planified. I'm still sure thought that the Count already know that she's alive. He may be an ass with Slaine, I'm sure he sent him for the same reason. He didn't seemed worried by his princess ''death'', but more by the aftermath that will occur. I mean, not only some people will want her dead, the human will also hate her if she reappear after all the bad have been done and ask for forgiveness... |

| The MC's apathy to everything going around him really irritates me. I guess it's supposed to be a "cool" trait of his personality, but it's not cool at all. They must be trying to abandon the shounen MC stereotype, but still, his attitude annoys me. The way he's just so calm when everyone's freaking out, telling them to brake and shit...Idk, maybe it's just me. Welp, okay episode. So apparently the princess actually didn't die? We didn't get clarification on that scenario yet. Red-head "baby rat" is pretty cute, hope we learn more about her. :3 All in all, in such a powerhouse season, this show seems lackluster to me. It was somewhat hard to get through this episode (hence why I finished it so late)...Just not feeling the mecha stuff right now. |
| The Martians technology!!! That purple mecha makes everything seem nonexistent towards it! The attempt to kill the princess being a conspiracy to start a war. Glad to see the princess is alive. The count killing the accomplices! Seeing the two fractions in Mars that actually care about the princess and the one that wants war. Seeing the political and military struggle inside Mars should be quite interesting! |

| God damn, that lieutenant guy wasn't kidding when he said these Martians had the power of God. They are literally destroying everything in their path. And I can't tell if Inaho just gives no fucks or is just too shocked to even give an expression but it' s pretty awesome to watch him stay calm like that though and think ahead. thepath said: I thought she just passed out tbh. | How are you guys eating this shit up? This episode was awful. Inaho continues to be boring as hell. They (the animation studio) spent 1.5 episodes dicking around showing just how OP Mars is when it could have been done in half an episode. Out of a 12 episode season, 2 have already been absolutely wasted -- time is really valuable if you don't have the luxury of spending episodes like it's DBZ, and it's a shame they don't know how to pace better. I really hope episode 3 is better, or I'll be dropping this like a rock. |
