| Migi's plan works well. I love how Shinichi manages to kill Mr. A with the pipe while battling his fear of being dispatched. Badass. We get some more understanding from Ryoko about parasytes and why they engage into cannibalism. So it's certainly just their initial instinct that automatically tells them what to do. She threatens Shinichi to kill him, but my guess is right: she can't and don't want to do it. I guess moms know their child well. But as expected, Ryoko's real mother is killed by a fake Ryoko. I wonder how Shinichi will work out with a gun. That's a useful weapon for a long-range attack. Shinichi's mom really cares for his son. She has a scar in her hand because a long time ago she protected the young Shinichi from the hot oil. I love the scene where she cries, thinking something's wrong to Shinichi. As expected, he makes an excuse because he can't tell his parents about the parasyte living in his right hand and how he knows about the true nature of killers in many murder cases. Overall, the episode is great. I'm getting addicted to this show. |

| Slow episode. Tamiya's cool as shit, by the way. Forgot to mention I enjoyed her addition to the cast last episode. Best moment was when she calmly says "I'm done being Tamiya Ryouko" and just strolls out of the teachers' meeting. Migi's detached dog form was unreasonably cute. Best character. |
| The way that the mother reacted towards Shinichi was a bit exaggerated in my opinion. She went from a bit worried to crying and going 'almost not like my son' in quick succession and kind of gave me the feeling of a woman with emotional issues. I guess it's really just due to the fast pace of the anime. |
| It takes skill to create such a terrible soundtrack. They can't even use it properly: the discussion between Shinichi and his mom should have been full of dramatic tension, since she started being suspicious about his behaviour, and instead we got some emotional music that has the opposite effect. |

| One thing I hate about Shinichi is that he sucks at acting. Like "no mom and dad there's nothing wrong with me" but he acts weird in front of them. wtf dude? At least try to act normal around people. And yelling at his mom? really? My mom opens my door without knocking too so I simply lock it. Ungrateful bastard. This is a deathflag I'm sure. His mom's gonna die and he's gonna fucking regret being a bitch to her. |

| I hope his parents don't return to the house by the end of the series because they might actually get killed. Shinichi is definitely not Light Yagami level when it comes to thinking because he almost got caught with his mom coming in while he has a gun and was talking to Migi. I hope Tamiya gets a change of heart when the baby comes and gets a sense of happiness from the baby and her personality changes to a good nature. |
| I actually like Nobuko's voice, she doesn't sound like an anime character. Both of Shinichi's parents are sweet, and I welcome that because so far I haven't met a lot of likable human characters in this series. Plus the only interesting characters so far are Migi and Tamiya, who aren't human, with Shinichi having some potential, if he really starts to "break bad". Well yeah, so far the series is not exactly strong in the character department, but there's still time. | Ah, the fight at the beginning was good. The music is awesome! I was kinda skeptical of their plan, like isn't it obvious Shinichi's up to something by walking closer, but I guess Migi was right about A XD They didn't end up killing him, but what Migi said was true, he's not a human :O Interesting scene with Ryouko as well, who's much stronger but decides to keep Shinichi alive for not being "pure"? What does that mean o_O Seems like she's gonna change to another person too, and she couldn't understand how Ryouko's mom saw through her right away. Just like Shinichi's mom I guess :P He should probably play it off as needing privacy (lol at his Dad though XD) but I appreciate that they gave some screentime to his parents, since usually anime parents don't exist at all pretty much. Well, or maybe they're setting it up so that their trip goes poorly ... D: Also it seems as though Migi can detach from Shinichi ... woah O_O That's ... interesting I guess? XD I'm sure it'll become a plot point later on :P |
| Interesting to know that Migi can detach from Shinichi's body now, at least for a few minutes. Also the father casually asking; "Was he spaking the monkey or something" caught me off guard, hilarious seeing the mother's reaction. |

| Lol, that oxygen tanks appeared out of nowhere. So I assume Tamiya is stronger than Migi. Though Shinichi's mother don't have the 'hairstyle of death' I still sense some death coming to her. And I hope what's being visualized in the OP was wrong, otherwise it would be a huge spoiler. |
