| First off: All them feels. But... It's an interesting development that in the end, Araragi had to let her go. He was asked to do so earlier, but by Oshino/Senjougahara, and he did not accept, even though he barely knew her. This time it's Mayoi herself who asked him, and after a long struggle, he gave in. Tells something about the character, huh. Still, all the feels, especially the ED. |

| hmm... to be fair I was pretty underwhelmed by this episode - especially after reading so many positive comments about it beforehand (though it didnt even spoil Hachikujis disappearance for me). I dont like the path the series has been going down in this arc at all: --- its genre label as a harem is showing more clearly then ever with araragi kissing three (loli!) girls, none of which is his girlfriend. Its reminding me, why I normally dont like the harem genre at all (which is mostly the male protagonists behaving like complete di**s) and it almost starts too feel like school days all over again. --- the amount of lolicon scenes has just been too excessive for my taste. With regard to Hachikuji in particular: as long as it was just fun and games, I kind of became indifferent to the groping and stuff. But then this episode comes along with them holding hands and kissing and being presented as genuine love interests... ahhrg i dont know. --- plus, especially in this episode, the series fell for some common anime tropes, which it managed to mostly steer clear of so far: too melodramatic, too cheesy, too cliché. Well, maybe i just couldnt get into the scenes, because watching Araragi and Hachikuji hold hands and kiss made me uneasy to begin with^^ One quote, which basically exemplifies all of these points: Araragi saying he wants to get lost with Hachikuji for the rest of his life. How am I supposed to take him seriously, when a) he has a girlfriend, who he loves (but who cares about girlfriends anyway), a "partner for life" (Shinobu), that he desperately needs to save and whose salvation he would pretty much give everything for (which he just stated 2 minutes before that by the way), another girl (Hanekawa), who he basically wants to die for and 2 sisters he needs to care for b) he says it to a 11-year-old girl, who then proceeds to kiss him and "bite his tongue" (cheeky :D) c) all of this is presented in such an overly dramatic way, it almost makes me burst out laughing? I am really trying to enjoy watching the Monogatari Series, I really am... especially since Bakemonogatari is my all time favourite anime. But sometimes scenes like this make it really difficult for me to do so. Im sorry i am being so harsh here, and over all i really love the Monogatari series, but I really needed to get this out of my system. What remains for me is to hope, that the emphasis of MSSS shifts back again to what it used to be in most of the great previous arcs... Is she trying to make him jealous? :D Is there any chance of them catching up on that the beginning of next episode? ... So there will be no Hitagi/Koyomi-interaction in Koimonogatari? D: |

| It's so sad that we have Mayoi anymore, she was one of my most favorite characters of all time, and my most favorite in the Monogatari Series... but I love that she confessed and kissed him. But I'm really sad that we won't see her anymore... |

| Looking back, this should have been all too obvious, but it took me completely by surprise. Hindsight is 20/20. Everyone who said Hachikuji was the Fuko of Clannad should be feeling pretty embarrassed right about now. Bye 2nd best girl. ;___; Let's not forget that when Araragi & Mayoi first met, she tried to push him away so as not lead him astray. She is a good person. :'^( |

| Wow, all I can say is wow. of the many shows this is the 1 series that almost always comes close to pushing me to tears. Hachikuji's and Koyomi's friendship (and even a little more I guess?) was always one of my favorites. Hachikuji will be sorely missed by me, luckily Shinobu can always pick up the slack in the super moe moe/kawaii department! |

| Aw damn i teared up then cried a little :( That kiss was actually touching since it was more of a goodbye kiss than anything. Which was suprising since i thought nothing like that would happen especially without koyomi being a perv about it. I like Gaen. I was totally right about the darkness as i predicted two episodes ago. I didnt guesss ithad anything to do with lies but i was right it had to do with dodities that arent supposed to be what they are. |

And is the presentation overly dramatic?? I actually think it is done in pretty subdued manner, and consistent with how NisiOisiN has done with Monogatari series so far. So it is a bit unfortunate you felt the opposite which resulted in the opposite reaction of what we experienced (laughing instead of crying) |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| at the end of these last two arcs hints have been dropped that ougi is somehow responsible...just what is she? is she really meme's niece? she's so fucking creepy i don't know how araragi isn't picking up on any of this. i dont read the light novels so i have so idea how this will play out but I'm excited to see what part ougi plays in the rest of this season and the final season whenever is gets made. also RIP hachikuji...i kept expecting araragi to find some alternative method but it never happened and a part of me still doesn't believe it. no more come from behind pedo attacks...no more "arararagi-san" :'( |
| All this season is a unique story that gonna take climax in the last 5 episodes. I want to believe that Araragi is gonna do something to bring back Hachikuji (He said the Hachikuji's death only to Ougi, it's a trap! |

| Just finished watching this ep for the 6th time. I still feel sad at the end. Hachikuji has been my fav since bakemonogatari, and this ep is just too much. and the OST is so good, especially the part after hachikuji said 'Italian shinsi' |

| damn..been a while since the last time i cried watching this series.. before, it were tears of happiness (bakemonogatari ep 12), now it's the opposite. She's my #3 fav Monogatari character, and her interactions with koyomi were always entertaining.. that "kamimashita" really hit me hard. |

| bittersweet ending for this arc :'( totally gonna miss mayoi.. quick question (the answer is possibly a spoiler), by the end of the tsubasa tiger's arc you see how araragi clothes has been torn like he was just fighting a strong enemy.. I thought whoever he was fighting would be revealed in this arc.. guess not.. so what arc will explain that event? I take it, it's not hanamonogatari since timeline wise, hanamonogatari is not gonna happen until much later |
