My best regards.
When you put it that way, things make a little more sense. Miyuki really is introverted at times, and I can see her getting upset about Natsumi leaving without mixed feelings. That clears things up a lot for me.

Thank you for suggesting this, ZakuAbumi!
Well, having watched the film now, I have a few questions. The whole film, I was under the impression that Neri had died. I agree that those dream-like sequences are Budori's 'inner world' and it shows him trying cope with her death. He probably feels an overwhelming grief and guilt from the whole thing, evidenced by that trial scene, among others. This could also be seen as his motivation throughout the film, although this point is quite understated. Farming, studying, volcanolgy; all of this can be tied in to a (perhaps subconscious) attempt to either atone for his guilt or simply as a way of preventing that from happening again.
BUT, assuming my interpretation is correct, the ending has me confused. Did Budori die? He isn't shown after that scene, so that lends credence to that theory, but how did that cause the volcano to erupt? The only possible interpretation I've come up with is that all those pages seen flying around his room during that scene are studies based on his theory that he had been working on for the last couple years, which were found upon his death and encouraged them to go through with his plan... Which might be stretching it, I know.
What's your interpretation of it?

Ansehenswert? Wenn ja, alle drei?
