A crazy rambling maniac who thinks he's so damn smart. Actually is an loudmouthed idiot who just spouts his insane theories and viewpoints, forcing them to innocent faces.
You are free to analyze and give your POV/opinions regarding the series. I have read some of your blog posts before, well, you given out some good points and some of them are not really that valid considering the series has gone deeper, jumping back and forth in story timeline. Well, to me, just write your thoughts on the series and try to overlook such people that attack your points deliberately. It's not like they are totally standing in the 'truth' line, they are just another fan like you do.
I really don't know where to start off...
Hmm... I'll talk but sorry for my bad English and choice of words.
Before I started reading the Second Series novels, I am just another anime-only audience, just like any other person in existing threads. I took the initiative to read the novels (most of the SS entries and published Third Season entries) in order for me to get myself delve deeper into the series as well as to discuss the series details with people in other online forums.
Like you, I too, watched the first series over and over to make myself grasp the whole concept of the story told. Besides the unique way of visual presentation by SHAFT (well, using vector arts for animation production is rarely seen these days), the thing that lured me deeper into Monogatari is the storytelling and how much it makes my brain to fully work while reading and watching them.
After being able to read the novels, only that I realized how great the author is at creating a main character so realistic (though it is hinted that Araragi is his ideal self) and making him such an unreliable narrator for the story--Araragi POV narrations sometimes ended in a vague conclusions and it makes me re-think the whole book that I have read that very time.
... Well, I think that's it.
I don't know what to tell you anymore regarding your post to me. Sorry if this is not answering your questions though. If you have any doubt/questions regarding the series, feel free to ask me. I'll try to answer them as much as I could.
I know this is completely random, but nice taste in anime, even if it is a short list. If you ever want a recommendation, I'm pretty sure I can suggest something that will fit yous tastes.
By the way...if you like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu so much (as do I) you must watch Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu. It's the movie that's a continuation of the series. And it is a masterpiece that even outshines the series. Just a friendly suggestion :)
