Pretty fun episode. A sports competition between teammates. Fun.

I like how everyone uses their skills to get an advantage and attempt to win.
I think it's also neat to see how strategies are used (with timings and calculated risks). The teamwork between the two sides is also interesting to note. I think Asano might of underestimated his opponents. Lol, Koro-sensei just chilling on the sidelines while watching XD

Competition against team with foreigners. Can it be more bad than that?
After seeing that flashback of Asano's father against the foreigners... Just how strong is he? Could be that someday Asano will join E-Class too?

The way Asano was protecting the pole was pretty damn BA kicking them away while doing acrobatics like that.

Principal-kun is too friggin EPIC! His face when he was threatening his son and the way he REKT those guys brutally O_o Also his story with Karate lol too OP

Isogai- "What a man".
The pole-toppling contest was fun to watch.
Lol those exchange students on Asano's team.
Love Karma speaking English.
Funny how they bought the match into the crowd.
Congrats on Class-E for winning. Love all the strategy they put in.
Asano sure is agile.
Damn the principal is a MONSTER taking on 4 guys.

So they actually hired native English speakers to voice the foreigners (or one of them at least) instead of just asking one of the staff members if he wanted to earn some easy cash and let him say a few sentences in Engrish? That's pretty nice

The principal sure is a creepy fuck

The principal is scary af. He actually made those bara foreigners bleed. I don't know how Asano still hasn't run away from him tbh.

So it's Isogai time. He's the class rep who's poor and works part-time which is against school rules but he has to do it to support his family. Asano uses this as an excuse to get back at 3-E for the exam defeat and challenges them to a pole toppling match.

Lol the kids use their assassin skills in the sports festival. Isogai proves his leadership skills in the match. They showed the difference between the two different kinds of leaders, Gakushu and Isogai. In the first season, during the baseball match, they showed the difference between the two educators, Koro and Asano, through a game. Now they're doing the same with the students through another game. Isogai comes up with some unconventional stuff and puts off Gakushu. With his hands full, he can't come up with a plan for the others whereas Isogai had everything thought out perfectly.

The engrish was strong here, very strong.

Nice episode, again.

It's soooo satisfying to see Class E putting Class A in their place again! =D

There was a lot of engrish in this episode too, which was done well, but the American exchange student had an actual english speaking VA for his character, which was a nice touch.

Asano will have to try harder if he ever wants to beat his father anytime soon. However, seeing how his father beat the living shit out of the foreign exchange students and had for a few seconds a look of pure insanity when speaking down to his son, I only hope Asano doesn't go down the same path as his father.

Isogai was excellent, not only with his tactics, but he's a hit with everyone who admires him and what he does inside and outside of school. I'm surprised that he hasn't got a girlfriend yet! =P

I think for more prestigious middle/high schools (like the one in this series), they care about their rankings and so they believe students should focus on their studies to get better grades and rank nationally. Idk though, that's what I've observed from...anime and manga anyways, lol. Don't take my word for it :P But it would make sense if many Japanese high school care about students doing better at school, and if they have time to do part-time job, they should be in cram school or studying by themselves. I was brought up that way too, I wasn't allowed to have a part-time job because I "should be studying instead."

Speaking of which the Principal is an insane guy, Defeating his Karate master within 3 days Wow, That must have been some rage that built up inside him. He's obsessed with being the absolute best at what he does.

What he said.
The logic is "a student's job is to study", and doing part-time job means you cannot dedicate your entire existence to studying.

And yes, this clearly violates the student's rights, and is perfectly acceptable in the Japanese mindset.

In any cases, not ALL schools have this rule. Students who are dirt poor and really need the money would probably be told that they should quit the school and apply the another without this rules instead.
(Kunugigaoka is very academic-focused, so it's natural for them to enforce this rule.)

The pacing in this episode was very interesting. The whole thing was over before I noticed! They have also omitted some stuff from the manga, like characterization of those foreigners, with each of them being at the very top of their respective sports teams.

I'm pretty disappointed by this episode actually.
First, they didn't explain why class A not attack when class E basically defenseless other than that asano couldn't give order.
Second, they didn't give any explanation about that super jump by itona.
Third, the animation was lacking.

Uhh just to clear this up, he was actually breaking the law by working. Kunugigaoka is a junior high school and they're third years which makes them 14-15 years old. According to labour laws in Japan, that would constitute child labour and it is illegal (edit: for those above 14 it is legal if they have obtained special permission granted from labour inspection officials). Normally the minimum age is 16 years old (high school).

Ah, I see, thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't sure about the labor laws for minors in Japan, but was too lazy to look them up and proceeded to continue along what il-Palazzo said about how it's common for schools in Japan to forbid part-time jobs. Makes sense though. But if he was underage, the employer shouldn't have hired him in the first place right? I read the laws and the employer are supposed to have copy of birth certificate at the workplace for their minors and "the employer shall keep at the workplace a certificate issued by the head of that child’s school certifying that the employment does not hinder the school attendance of the child or written consent from the child’s parent or guardian." But again, from anime and manga experience, I'm guessing employers sometimes break the law :I (probably not very often though?)

Awesome teamwork episode as always, though honestly I thought the plan was going to have the army backfire and Class A ram their own pole while trying to take out Class E.
