So guys, I'm sure many of you would love an anime with strong female lead. I would like to see who's your favorite and What anime is she from so I can add to my ptw list for later.

Mine is Oscar François de Jarjeyes - the lead of Berusaiyu no Bara. She's beautiful, elegant and has an unwavering heart.

The world is not beautiful. Therefore, it is.

I don't really know of too many but Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta... has a pretty strong female lead in the manga, and the anime is airing next year. Lead is awesome, I absolutely love her lmfao.

Lina Inverse from Slayers, easily. As is Mokoto Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell, both are power fantasies for me. Arguably Kino from Kino's Journey as well if you don't interpret Kino as nonbinary.

I'll go for Mikasa Ackerman from AOT.She is strong and don't give a shit about others except Eren.

Shana from Shakugan no Shana. The Flame-haired, Red-eyed Flame Haze is not to be messed around with!
Balsa from Moribito. She can outfight anyone & she's cunning as a fox
& Ryougi Shiki from kara no kyoukai. a complete badass with great characterization~

I like Yona, but I do hate when the shoujo trope gets to her. Overall, she's a great lead.

My favourite strong female characters are those that aren't perceived as strong by merely imitating male steretypes. Fate/stay Night's Saber did this fantastically in the VN, but a lot of the nuance of her character was unfortunately lost in the adaptations and she was presented more like a generic Strong Female Character(TM).

Mikasa and Hange from AOT, Saber and Rin from Fate/Zero and Stay Night UBW, Claire from Claymore, Mai from Mai-HiME, Emma from Promised Neverland, Mumei from Kabaneri, Victorique from Gosick, and my fave lesser known one (featured in this gif) - Asirpa from Golden Kamuy!

Clare from Claymore, she's cure, has a big sword and kills all the monsters. And Marlene from Blue Gender, being in the military as a girl was tough but she managed perfectly, she can pilot a robot and kill giant insects, she's great.

To my understanding "Female lead" would be either protagonist or co-protagonist:

Koko: Because she is loco and I said "Oh no".

Tanya Degurechaff: this is little bit cheating but I would still consider it.

Shiki Ryougi: great character, cool personality, adorable (towards her guy) and really badass.

Casca: even after what happened she is great. Berserk characters are way too good.

Jolyne and Ermes: I love my female Jobro's.

Arcueid: as someone who is absolutely tired of seeing Saber, I can't help but feel Arcueid is under appreciated. Basically the strongest thing on her verse (beside her grandpa) but adorable as hell.

Ryuko and Satsuki: these two are the epitome of an alpha female.

Gonna go with Utena Tenjou, which is funny to bring up since she's directly inspired by Oscar.

A few other choices, Hajime from Gatchaman Crowds, Kobayashi from Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and maybe Fuu from Samurai Champloo, though it's arguable if she's the main character.

Major Motoko Kusanagi from the Ghost In The Shell franchise. Grown-up adult woman. Knows her shit. Is very good at strategizing, can lead a team. Also knows how to fight and operate all sorta stuff. Plus points for being HAWT.

I'm sure this will vary from one person to the next, depending on their definition of what makes a "strong" lead (be it physical, sheer badassery, a well-written character, etc). My pick for the strongest female lead would have to be Erin from Kemono no Souja Erin. While she might not be strong in a physical sense, the things that make her stand out are her unwavering beliefs, the ability to constantly adapt to her surroundings, and her resilience in the face of discrimination (among many other amazing traits). She's a lover, not a fighter, but through seeing her growth over the span of eight years, you come to root for her far more than your typical battle anime protagonists. She displays what I believe to be the epitome of the word "strength", and in turn has become my favorite lead of all time.

(For those unfamiliar, yes she's a kid on her MAL page. She's 10 years old at the start, but you see her grow into a woman over the course of the series. Also no: Erin is not exactly a kid's show.)

people that I have met, all the women that I have loved; all the cities I have visited.

Well Sunako Nakahra from The Wallflower is literally very strong since she's always beating people in fights. It's mainly all for comedic purposes, but she's not your typical shojo protagonist, that's for sure.

One of my favorites was Mikasa Ackerman from Attack on Titan. There's no doubt that she's strong after she saved Eren's ass for many times. Next one is Revy from Black Lagoon, she's adept in using guns and on top of that, was very skilled too. I love how straight-forwarded she is. I don't know if this counts but I also like Kurisu from Steins;Gate. In 2013 movie of Steins;Gate, it was mainly focused on her and how she will save Okabe.

I firmly believe that Utena Tenjou is easily the best strong female lead. She's tomboyish, yet elegant, caring and a badass. Not to mention her design is adorable AND she's a LGBTQ icon. What more does one need?
