The rating system I would say. It helps me to pick the anime I like. 6. If we go by the proper philosophical definition then no. If you are talking about a logical analysis of the criticism than yes. The criticism has to be majorly logical and point out the flaws and good sides. 7. Nope. And probably never will. Kinda cringe imo. 8. They are good. You can trust em. 9. It is a bad thing. Japan is just not good at handling CGI. They do very good 2D animation so they should stick to that. This trend will probably ruin the medium for a lot of people. 10. ANILIST BY FAR. This site looks like it is a fossil from a billion years ago. 11. ODD TAXI. It is just the thing I wanted in anime. A good murder mystery. 12. Probably Tokyo Revengers OP. Don't know much about the EDs 13. Chainsaw man probably. 14. Endings with a perfect closure. And this is where it creates a difference in me. I usually prefer more nuanced endings regarding movies but more clear cut endings in TV Shows. Probably because I think that TV Shows show a proper journey so I think that to complete the journey the ending must be proper. But if the open ending is handled well, then it just might be one of my favorite endings.... |

I prefer watching the anime I like instead and usually don't need recommendations from the forum, unless I really want something really specific. 9. Your thoughts on CGI becoming more frequently used in anime? Is it a good or bad thing? Some utilization of CGI is really good in my opinion. Some famous examples include Land of the Lustrous and the Jojo ops (the Stone Ocean one is insane and perfect), and also the CGI in Kakegurui blends pretty well with the 2D animation. But some are worse unfortunately, from the infamous scenes in Berserk to some scenes in Baki. It's a good thing to use, but if it couldn't blend into the 2D animation or the story itself should not be told entirely on CGI, it causes pure disaster. 10. MAL’s website design or Anilist’s website design? Which one is better in terms of looks, and which one is better in terms of features? MAL. It looks much neater and have better features in my opinion. BTW I only knew Anilist after joining MAL, so it might not be justified enough. 11. Best anime of the year? Pui Pui Molcar :) 12. Best OP and ED of 2021? OP: STONE OCEAN from Jojo Season 5 (but if anime ended in 2021 also counts then it'll be VIVID VICE from Jujutsu Kaisen) ED: Infinity from Sk8 13. I like the styles we have today and the isekai/battle royale themes. 6. Absolutely not. Objectivity is in mathematics and not in an anime's review. 7. No, and I don't think I'd like to try. I'm fine here at home. 8. I don't care about them most of the time, but they are mostly accurate. 9. I think drawings are always going to give life into an anime and not CGI. All of them have their good and bad sides, so I can't exactly choose, but out of all of them, I consume anime the most. 2. As I said, all of them have good and bad sides, so I can't pick. 3. | 1. I tend to watch more Anime 2. A majority of the anime I have seen is aimed at the Shonen demographic and probably need to diversify what I watch more. 3. tsundere I guess? 4. Probably 90s when it comes to the aesthetic 5. Helps me remember what episode I'm on when I don't have time to watch all the shows I want to watch when I come back to it 6. There's always some bias, there's no real 100% objective review 7. Nah. I plan on going once I'm more comfortable post-COVID and when I start medically transitioning so I can cosplay the characters I want to 8. Not really gone off forum reccs much 9. CGI in and of itself isn't bad it really just depends on how it is implemented and how good it looks. It can't be too stiff and look out of place. Sometimes even rendering the CGI at a higher framerate can kill the blending with the hand drawn elements. 10. I've only ever used MAL 11. I didn't really watch too many new anime this year ngl. Been too busy so I can't really judge on that. Out of what I've seen idk Iruma season 2 i guess. 12. Soul Salvation for OP prolly. Idk about Ed's really due to how I haven't seen too much 13. Honestly, looks like a lot of the shows I'm interested in are follow up seasons to shows i need to watch 14. Depends on the anime its attatched to as sometimes it makes more sense for an open ending in a series like Cowboy Bebop while it wouldn't make sense to have an open ending to a show like One Piece whenever that ends |
